If asked to do only the simple things, Brady can still be effective. But, he's often petulant in the tackle and lackadaisical in his passing. Which as you point out, we saw again last night.
Numerous times he found himself lost upfield allowing Boro to have a free run due that side of the pitch. We were fortunate Cunningham had a good game to mop things up in behind.
HIs pass completion rate last night is listed at 58%. Only 24 passes completed out of 41 attempts. Which for the wingback role is poor.
I think we have set the bar so, so low for some of these players; that very average displays (for most other championship players) are ranked as "man of match" worthy here.
Just on the pass completion stat, assume that will include crosses, which will naturally cause that stat to drop significantly, as its his bread and butter?
