So we know the extent of sakamoto's injuries? To be fair, if their mate is seriously injured, I don't mind them showing support.

Sorry to change the subject but has anyone noticed that Leeds Utds last 2 games have been live on tv and there next 5 games are also live on tv including there FA cup match against Chelsea, its ridiculous the amount of extra revenue they obtain when it's supposed to be evenly distributed

It’s absurd. The rest of the teams should be pointing it out. The rich get richer…on the plus side it’s gives me a good reason to dislike them more ..though I’ve always sort of liked them since the days of Alan Clark ,and Mick Jones.. ( the broken arm game? ) And two great full backs. ( Reany and ..?) Andy Grey and Billy Brenner and Collins … ( Dave McKay lifting Bremner off his feet) but , and it could be a false memory, best of all Leeds beating Man United 5..0 ..

I suppose if I was running a business like Sky , I would be delighted that a well supported Championship club like Leeds are doing well. Just think of all those extra subscribers. It's the crazy rules that Ifollow have that I don't get.

In my view Hughes did make a back for him, which was very similar to the Coventry defender on Riis for our opening goal. The difference being that one leap was in control the other wasnt. My previous understanding is that making a back for a player in this way is deemed as dangerous play & can warrant a red card. But its a very grey area and difficult to call. A player has the right to pull out of a challenge. All very unfortunate for Sakamoto & I hope he makes a speedy recovery

I hear Sakamoto is recovering at home and Coventry don't want to say anything about the injury. I hope they're not looking for a retrospective red card for Hughes as has been suggested in some quarters. Preston and Coventry are both in the play off mix and Hughes could be vital. Personally, I saw very little in the challenge to warrant a yellow, let alone a red.

It is sad for the lad and it looked a horrible fall.
I am sure Hughes has sent him his best wishes as I am sure we all do.
However, it was not a foul, no one from Coventry as a club has claimed it was a foul.
Any Coventry fan clamouring for someone to blame is clutching at straws.
It was just unfortunate, hopefully he makes a good recovery.

To be fair to Hughes, when you view the clip of the incident, he has his eyes on the flight of the ball right until the moment Sakamoto jumps across him. Any suggestion, as Cov fans seem to be clamouring for, that it was a premeditated act are completely inaccurate

No one else think that Riis was a bit lucky not to get pulled up for a foul scoring his goal, clambering all over their defender, surprised they didn’t appeal for it ?
Watched it back a few times and he didn’t head it in, sort of half volleyed it in off the defenders back with the point of his shoulder… luckily went in, could have gone anywhere !
