He's supposed to explain his reasoning for the selection decision.
Simple as.
Simple as.
Hmmm I wonder.
We exist in an era of conspiracies JK.
….oh and this one. Not the first time this season
Yes please .be still my beating heart .Every cloud has a silver lining.... Hopefully our Manager has now done enough self preservation to get himself poached in the Summer. 🤞
He should stick to singing....I see Ben A has lost his head on Twitter 😭 he's a bigger knobhead than Ryan Lowe. Grown man arguing with kids. What a sad sad man.
Lowe had already created a divide with the fans with his 'badges' comment earlier this season. He's clearly very thin-skinned and doesn't like criticism but there was absolutely no need for him to react in the way he did. It was a question on every fan's lips and the journalist was right to ask it on behalf of the fans. And that is your opinion, fair enough. I don't totally disagree, journalists and "run of the mill crap" questions is par for the course. I very rarely listen to the sound bites after games, I find the whole charade tedious.
On this occasion the question for me is pretty pointless. No issues with people seeing it differently, that is life.
What is Lowe suppose to reply? Go against the fans and say they are wrong? Or stand there and say the fans are right and he was wrong. It's a no win for Lowe but a win for the 'journo' asking the 'hard hitting questions' 🙄 I'd be a bit fucked off too if I was Lowe. 0-0 away from home, big players missing and mindful that losing a second game running would cause massive uproar.
No good comes from questions like this other than the 'journo' raises his profile. We still have important games left, mathematically the season isn't over so no need to start creating a divide between fans and manager for absolutely no reason.
To be perfectly honest Mads can be hit and miss. One week magnificent and the other non existent. Birmingham the previous game absolutely anonymous, plus he's hardly a work horse so maybe that played a part in Lowe's thinking. 🤔
Most managers would have said something along the lines with the injuries and personnel available today we changed tactics slightly and went more direct which negates the need for Mads to start. To be fair to Lowe it worked well and in normal circumstances you could argue a draw away at Watford would be ok but when you need to win and you can see the starting 11 blowing out of there arses after 60 mins make the changes and go for the win.And that is your opinion, fair enough. I don't totally disagree, journalists and "run of the mill crap" questions is par for the course. I very rarely listen to the sound bites after games, I find the whole charade tedious.

He could easily have said 'Of course, I understand the fans wanting Mads to play, he's a talented player, but while I respect their views, I have to pick a side I think will get us a result. Sometimes that involves tough decisions and as manager, it's down to me to make them'.
He gave them under 10 minutes to make a dramatic and sudden improvement, whilst taking off two strikers ??🤔Did we suddenly start to play better after the changes?, and create more?
crap managers rely on sycophants like you to make up for their obvious failings and boy you and a few other arseholes on here kiss his arse all the time.We got a result. No need to explain anything. No guarantees that should Mads play from the start we win the game especially given how poor he played vs Brum.
Morning all given the list of players out think it was a decent point however puts the play offs further away, the line up was odd but apart from playing Mads, who else could he pick, McCann was outstanding and Whatmough did a sterling job, if Keane had scored with his effort in the second half think we would have won, they are good going forward and two chances fell to their wing back, their forwards didn't get a sniff. Yes it's a disappointing result in the course of what we needed but given the circumstances it's a point at a difficult ground
You refer to his remarks being 'ages ago' as though that excuses the offence. The guy operates in an egotistical vacuum. George asked a question that I would like to think, he asked on behalf of the majority of our fanbase. He certainly asked it for our WhatsApp group of 15 who responded to the team with 'What the ****' and a stream of vernacular oaths. I would like to say 'Well done George ' shame he didn't get a reasoned response, the question deserved. That was ages ago (albeit I take get your point) and since then the relationship between Lowe and the fans has been in a much better place. It has coincided with better results, at times miles better performances, better team selections, 2 losses in 14 and still an outside chance of play offs after easter etc...... Lowe has had to learn lessons this season. Very difficult to get my head round people ignoring the current state of affairs, give credit to Lowe for his role in the positive upturn in our season instead of harping on and holding on to things that have been and gone.
People don't want generic run of the mill questions asking to Lowe but you are advocating that Lowe gives a generic run of the mill answer to a silly question just to pacify people. 🤔

In a way it is an odd one yesterday, can see both sides of the argumentSorry mate, but I don’t agree with that at all.
Firstly, ignoring the managerial decisions, they had previously won 5 in 21 home games this season. They haven’t won at home in the league since the 28 November. Even Huddersfield have turned up and beaten them, a team who have only won 3 away games all season. It absolutely isn’t a tough place to go (half of their players didn’t even care as their season was done).
I do agree that he was limited in what he could play, but I think a lot of the fume on here is based on his decisions during the game.
Not playing Mads when you have two strikers that constantly make runs in behind, which Mads thrives on is barmy. To then eventually bring on Mads and take both strikers off was a silly, ridiculous decision.
Telling Woodman to slow down when taking a goal kick has sent my head to Mars. We needed 3 points and he’s telling players to slow down? It even got to a point where the fans had to chant to get him to make a change. Lowe had absolutely no intention to win that game and simply wanted to solidify our position in the Top half.
At the end of last season he said he didn’t want to manage an average Championship team and be an average Championship manager. But in order to do that, you have to win football matches and not play for draws at the end of the season. Ryan Lowe is nothing more than an average Championship manager and we are nothing more than an average Championship team. I’m fed up with it - every single season is the same.
But hey ho, loads of Championship clubs are going to go bust and we’re going to be in a great position aren’t we, Peter 🤡
We got a result... albeit a poor one given our fellow play-off contenders all won. That was ages ago (albeit I take get your point) and since then the relationship between Lowe and the fans has been in a much better place. After the debacle at Brum this was a game we HAD to win, lets leave Mads and Holmes on the bench and when he made the change Lowey took off 2 strikers, how the fuck does that work?????

I'm sorry but there was absolutely nothing wrong with the question, an going off the chants from the fans that were there, plus others listening or watching at home, it's a question that we wanted an answer to.And that is your opinion, fair enough.
