Matchday Thread PNE v Huddersfield Town - 9/4/24 - KO:7.45pm - Championship

Good. I can see the sea from my house, it's a high tide and looking rather choppy. There's an old saying, 'if you can see Barrow, it's going to rain, if you can’t, it's already raining'.
Small world been in Barrow all day ( had bought a ticket for Barrow v Bradford as it’s a ground I’ve not been to ) called off so travelled to my hotel in Kendal and seen some rain today !!

The only place that it rains more than Preston is Kendal!

"Ryan Lowe is hoping to have a few players back at some stage this week, with Alan Browne and Liam Millar having missed Saturday’s draw in Watford.
Ched Evans travelled to Vicarage Road but wasn’t quite ready to make the squad. He is more likely to make the match against Norwich City than Huddersfield Town.
Ben Whiteman, Brad Potts and Ryan Ledson will remain sidelined."

Hard match as they’re scrapping for their lives and a much better team than lowly Rotherham. It’s great that we’ve got 60 points already with still an outside chance of getting to the playoffs.

Brady McCann Holmes Hughes

Keane Riis

Meh 🫤. Better than Saturday at least. Hudds most dangerous players are out wide so those wingbacks should marshal them fairly well but not sure about the attacking threat

Best we can hope to put out considering the state of the squad.

Definitely not expecting a classic.

Where's Millar?

Strange hecisnt in the 18.

Must be some serious alleged "jet lag". 😂✈️
