Matchday Thread PNE v Huddersfield Town - 9/4/24 - KO:7.45pm - Championship

Good. I can see the sea from my house, it's a high tide and looking rather choppy. There's an old saying, 'if you can see Barrow, it's going to rain, if you can’t, it's already raining'.
Barrows game is off tonight due to waterlogged pitch……

Struggling to find the motivation for tonight. It's weird I can driving 472 miles on Saturday for a footie match, but tonight's 38 mile round trip is looking less appealing.
There came a point on Saturday when my pea brain clicked that PNE were only interested in ensuring a point. That was towards the end of the game when Woodman took an age to collect the ball and then even longer to distribute it out. It was obviously under instructions. I realised then the season was over, in fact it was probably over a few weeks before.

This club has no desire to get in the lottery of the play offs and right now my interest in going to the game is at an all time low so I know exactly how youre feeling.

This is a must-win and so are the next five because of our tragic displays in the week just gone. Even with 6 wins it might not even be enough with Coventry's form.

This feels like a nothing game right now, but I guess we'll see.

Could do with two massive favours from Sheff Wednesday and Southampton to make that table looks better.

Still a bit naffed off from Saturday. Giving Lowe a chance to redeem himself - go for the win, nothing else will do.

Really hoping that we get a nice surprise or two in the lineup tonight.

Where is it, maybe the corner between the Town End and the STFS?
To answer my own question, I see it's next to Gentry Bar, I'm hoping to give it a go on Saturday unless it's pissing down.

Glorious weather in Liverpool after chucking it down all day

Bet Preston keeps the rain
