What a mess indeed.
First sub should have been a like for like replacement, or Ledson in and Browne pushed forward.
And that ulitmaty started our downfall. Keane into an 8 role which isn't him, play him in a two. Mads as poor as he was gives you team structure, keep the structure and we don't lose that game!
Evans looked 35 when he came on, physically shot and as good as he's been looked complete gone today which is a shame.
Ending the game 4231 (wasn't wing backs as Hughes had gone CB, Storey RB) was just a mess. Looked like they've never played it before, or trained in the shape as the goal comes from two players going to press for the same ball and bang they have an overload, next minute we have an unfortunate slip and the Norwich lad couldn't believe his luck.
I was willing to cut the manager some slack especially with missing 4 of his starting XI today in McCann, Whiteman, Potts and Millar but tactically that change and shift in shape was up there with Aaron Brown starting up front at Sheffield Wednesday.
A total mess. And a real shame too as I thought the longer we stay in the game, the more we've a chance of getting something out of it. Instead, those changes absolutely kill us.
If you're not going to win the game, sure as hell don't lose it.

To be fair Ando they could still finish 3rd and not go up etc if they lose play offs. Does anyone want that top 2 place. Ipswich currently top but going to be very close I think.Indeed, 5,600 Leicester fans singing ā Preston, weāll never play you again ā¦ā¦ ā
Do we have 16K people in the area willing to pay for a ST to watch a mid/lower standard, poorly funded and badly managed team perform each week to ensure continued membership of the second tier level of the sport in England?
Nothing is going to change but reading some of the comments on here it seems that many are not in any way concerned about the annual failure of those in control. Seems many just enjoy the misery and regular let downs.

If Hughes doesn't dive in like an idiot the goal doesn't happen. So many goals conceded down the left and from crosses towards both back posts. Lindsay like many cb can be exposed, Freddie should do better, but the goal doesn't happen if Hughes just sticks to his position. The goal conceded is why at the business end of seasons the backline isn't quite good enough. Brady falls over trying to keep up, Lindsay scared by a player running at him and goes to ground far too easily and Woodman should've done better as it was a slow shot straight at him.

Mads being shocking was probably the trigger for a panic stricken string of substitutions. What a mess indeed.

I think youāre suggesting replacing Whatmough with Ledson which I donāt think would have impacted anything.
I reckon the truth is that a couple of our players could probably get into the Norwich team whereas virtually all of their team could get in ours.
Quality won today, especially in the second half.
I think even with Mads being as shocking as he was, he was still more capable of pulling something out of the bag. What a mess indeed.

I can't criticise the players for today - they clearly put in the effort but Lowe shot them all in the foot.
Hard 90 mins overall posed little threat Norwich clearly did there homework and just sat deep knowing we struggle to break teams down. Sad thing as soon as Mads messed up the one two with Browne I knew he would be subbed. Lowes lack of tactical knowledge and understanding instantly made us weaker. Millars injury is an absolute killer along with Potts and McCann. Good season in terms of budgets and expectations, but football is played on grass 11 v 11 and in to many key games we have come up short. The next transfer window is massive 2 wingbacks, a CB and a DCM all a must. Sign Millar add some depth and who knows.

Hang on, he did that at Watford and got pelters for it!If you're not going to win the game, sure as hell don't lose it.
Unfortunately I doubt that the powers in the IOM will loosen the purse strings to allow the budget for the signings you mention.šµāš«š¤ā¹ļøHard 90 mins overall posed little threat Norwich clearly did there homework and just sat deep knowing we struggle to break teams down. Agree Gaz thought a draw was fair result if only Lowe didn't do these subs both sides could not complain if it was a draw.I think even with Mads being as shocking as he was, he was still more capable of pulling something out of the bag.

Iām really not Ledsonās biggest fan but itās baffling to me why we didnāt get him on the pitch.
Whatmough did a decent job, but after about 60, everything became erratic and it was a bit of a mess.
Surely at that point, you bring on your experienced Championship midfielder to calm things down? We were up against top operators in Sara and Nunez. Makes sense to me that you play a midfielder when you need to get hold of a game rather than a CB in that position.
Itās silly decisions like this throughout the season that have cost us. People have said āheās a young coach, heāll learnā, but he isnāt.
His subs have been largely poor since day 1 and we are stuck in 1 system. Really find it difficult to understand why a coach at this level canāt play any other systems. Sigh.

Not long back from the game and I'm gutted but not surprised. I haven't read the MDT because it'll only make me more depressed.
If only...
Whatmough's bullet header comes to mind.
A couple of observations, I thought Holmes played well and was disappointed when he was subbed, I can only assume he was knackered. Also, Whatmough had a decent game, it was great to see Browne starting but Mads, WTF!

....and caught cheating again. How many bloody times have Leicester been in and out of administration but bounced back? And now face possible FFP points deductions next season? They should have been kicked down to the Conference years ago.For one season at least until they get relegated.

Itās not a case of enjoying the misery and regular let downs. It is more a question of being so passionate about supporting your team that you continue to support them forever through thick and thinDo we have 16K people in the area willing to pay for a ST to watch a mid/lower standard, poorly funded and badly managed team perform each week to ensure continued membership of the second tier level of the sport in England?

Same old today.
Seriously disappointed but I know I shouldnāt be.
Itās frankly been a joke that we still had a chance of playoffs with the crap thatās been served up most of the time.
I struggle to see much progression at all over the season compared to last and I canāt remember too many times Iāve been excited to watch us
Major issue for me is club mentality. We start with aspirations of playoffs - thatās second prize before we even start the season. Then thereās various watered targets - top half, better than last season etc. and this is vocalised by the manager (and probably others above him). Itās lame
