We setup to sit in our own half and try and hit them on the break for which we don’t have the players…the opposition are camped on our half so it dont take much for them to walk thru our defence…we don’t press as a team…last night perfect example so Leicester we’re easily able to play out of defence as there was always a player free…we back off players and our fitness is crap cos we’re constantly chasing the ball…Leicester did not even start with their strongest 11 and always looked like they could step up a gear if they wanted to. The manager needs to go I have no idea what the players are being coached and it’s been like this for the last 2 seasons.
 
Anyway, I went to work absolutely fuming. I've not been so angry since I stubbed one of my naked toes last year against a wooden chair.

Calmed down a bit now (obviously) but... the whole club needs wiping clean from top to bottom bar the youths (U20s) plus Whiteman, McCann, Stewart, Best. Maybe Keane, Mads and Osmajic.

Please let this takeover (a) be true (b) actually happen.

We are bloody shit. Ridsdale / Lowe / Browne, hang your heads in shame.

When we did have chance to break we just gave the ball away cheaply even when not particularly under pressure.Numerous examples of passes which should be basic at Championship level being vastly overhit and a distinct lack of passion or urgency.
 
A few thoughts on a very depressing evening.

The "on the beach" attitude was evident from the moment the players emerged from the tunnel. In what world do you take your small kids to work when your mind should be focussed on the very well paid job ahead.

How many of the Leicester players are "worth" more than our entire squad? (Parachute payments are a disgrace)

The Leicester fans couldn't even be bothered being disparaging about us, saving their "humour" for Leeds.

How many times do we have to host and witness someone else's promotion party. It seems like it happens every year but perhaps that's just faulty memory.

How many season ticket sales have been lost since we started our most recent abject slump?
 
Until the mentality of finishing 21st or above every season, then this club is going to be stuck in the same rut forever.

Craig, you either need to sell the club and look for a buyer or actually invest in it so we can at least have a proper go becuase this finishing mid-table every season is so fucking boring. We are absolutely tedious, literally what is the point of supporting this club to finish 11th every year. There is no enjoyment in it.

You can start by getting rid of Lowe and Ridsdale and getting someome in who know what they're doing on and off the pitch. As for on the pitch, well I think walking up to Deepdale last night you could tell what was going to happen. Roll out the red carpet for Leicester and let another team celebrate on our patch.

Browne is an athletic, strong player who often sets the tone with his combative play. Why would he risk the chance of a lucrative sign on fee elsewhere by getting seriously injured?
As for not playing Miller wide left and not even trying to swap him with Brady , well that’s the reason why I departed on 75. Absolutely piss wet through & even more pissed off .

Well parachute payments or not others have defeated them this season, it’s just excuses if that doesn’t sit well blame FFP or budgets or fan numbers the excuses are more damned plentiful than goals! we can’t score them either it seems can’t is the key word at Preston North End.

agree completely . I noticed in the first half Leicester's entire back four was at least 10 yards inside our half with their midfield almost at the penalty area . We were so deep , playing almost a back 7 . It was just so easy for them to keep possession , pull us around and pick holes .
In comparison we just lumped 50 yard balls in the vague direction of Osmajic .
It looked like quality footballers versus Neanderthals , very sad and embarrassing .

How dare Leicester come and play free,fast flowing attacking football (where have I heard that before) It's not fair is it Ryan.

Do we even practice passing in training ?? We were failing to make basic simple passes that even a non-league player could do 9 times out of 10 . Our ball retention is absolutely dire ; it's as if they've been told to keep it as little as possible .
Lowe is a tactical pygmy , we will never have any chance of getting to the playoffs or higher while he's in charge .
The owners must surely see his limitations and ineptitude by now ? Yet another horrendous run of relegation-level results and performances - no other manager in the country could survive that but he's there along with his partner in crime Ridsdale . Craig , just put your foot down and get both of these cretins out of the club . Otherwise it's a relegation battle next season for sure .

Yep, blame the setup all you want, but it's not Ryan Lowe who made the players give the ball away repeatedly.

Parachute payments for Prem relegated teams, Watford, Boro, Cardiff, et all will make a push forward also. If Brum survives, sure their owners will spend a pretty penny to make them better as well.

Would you realistically trust Lowe with a healthy transfer budget? I wouldn't. He buys players then plays them(sometimes) usually in positions alien to them. Is he he trying to be the square pegs in round holes world champion.?

Don't be daft. The only chance Best will get is they dug up George. Stewart is a work in progress one for the future guy. Does anyone know when that future is? Has for work in progress how can you progress if you are never given a decent opportunity? Lowe is a master of football clichés for the media. Must have several badges for spouting utter bullshit by now.
