Another excellent observation Rob..... Disagreement encourages robust debate and makes for interesting reading.... These silly cunts haven't a clue.
 
In all seriousness, there's an extensive discussion going on between the mods currently. We aren't enjoying this, none of us feel comfortable with censorship and we broadly agree that the Online Safety Act has been poorly executed.

However this is now the reality, these are new parameters and we're implementing these rules as best we can to protect the site and the site owner.

Things will likely evolve and our stance will need to be reviewed, but as of right now, a risk averse approach has to be the one taken.

I can't speak for JK, but I'm sure as much as he would not want to lose patrons, he'd like to lose the site even less.

You can look at it two ways, there's about half a dozen or so that post in the news threads, most forum members aren't even interested, but some that are don't post as they just get shut down or abused for thinking differently, or the forum protects itself by following the law, this could encourage more folk to post in the news section without being berated for their opinions.

Not sure how or why you've quoted me in a post from Mark.

But fwiw, I'm 5'1 and cry myself to sleep about it every night.
