Club Takeover/Investment

Club Takeover/Investment

I think many of us have been scathing at times (or always!!) with regards to how the IOM run our club. But imho the one thing I think they will do (especially if Craig is involved in it). Is that they will sell up only to the right people who will progress the club. Bring it on.
The right people.by January could be huge for us

Just as long as there's no "% for Craig" (mentioned in the OP), or worse still, job for life for Peter.

It's nice that they'll sell to (their version of) "the right people", but when they do sell, they need to go.

Well when the takeover happens. Kiss goodbye to the cheap season tickets.
Six and two threes
Raise prices = less people
Lower them = more people
Balance sheet will remain pretty much the same - but lessons learnt shows that more bums on seats has a bigger benefit than purely a commercial transaction

Aye let's start the scaremoungering early shall we?

It has been proven beyond any doubt that our season ticket strategy has worked. Turnover is actually up and out attendances as a whole increase season on season.

Any new ownership wishing to make a positive impact would be making a huge mistake in increasing season tickets at the takeover stage.

Yes, you can look at some of the tossers like at Sheff Wed but they have had historically higher price and the FA base size who will pay it. Which if we believe Craig and Peter we will not sell to such a cowboy like him or Prisoner 1242.

However, if the ambition and finances show they meant business, the fans would probably buy in to it.

PR is employed by them. As soon as them keys are handed over his role is gone. If the club is sold that is. Surprisingly I think PR probs wants out now.

I could see him making a case to stick around - continuity, knows how the club functions, influential EFL board member etc.,

Especially if the buyers are new to football.
