actually quite a sad tale about what happened to jean marc bosman after his victory, for him it was a pyrrhic victory, everyone else (players) made hay he made fuk all, there was a cracking docu on about him & his life afterwards, shunned from football as he was, alas i dont think folk on here could understand german
 
I feel fans are now completely bemused and confused by the operational management structure within the club that the owners have created.

The current owners do not have a board position.

The clubs face is….

Penrose. Chairman.
Ridsdale. Was chairman.
K. Abbot. Finance director.
Zoe…. Director.
Above paid by club.

Dave Robinson, David Taylor, non exec directors.

So just Penrose and maybe Ridsdale…the others just make up the numbers.

No one to me seems to be ultimately responsible, it’s smoke and mirrors.

Not good enough this Craig Hemmings.

You have to come out of the shadows and take some responsibility.

Your dad would be disgusted.
 
It was said at the end of last season that PR had cleared his desk and had seen over his last game at north end. Was this true? Did he think he’d been finished and down tools? The squad looks unfinished and rushed together, like half arsed put together. The takeover needs completing asap and helping GA build a team and get us out of this mess.
The squad is totally unbalanced and needs at least 3 more players.
 
I see Elton John & Troy Deeney have publicly come out criticising the state of Watford got me wondering do we have any prominent figures who could do the same with us?...maybe Wallace & one of the SpudBros (not both as that would be a stupid idea)...Jokes aside, fair play to Elton & Troy for caring.

Also could someone with more education than me explain the difference between an Exec & Non Exec Chairman given that Ian Penrose is the latter or does it not make any difference?

Penrose is the non executive chairman.

Significant difference.

To have started the season with virtually no attacking capability means no one was in control at the club, it’s a very basic requirement in the squad requirements for a season in the Championship, yet it wasn’t attended too.

They knew Osmajic was leaving, we needed replacements for Dobbin and Jebbison too, and also Smith.

The big loss was Dobbin.

We managed to spend a record amount yet end up with a totally unbalanced squad with no strikers.

Are we suffering from a Penrose/Ridsdale power struggle? Ridsdale has been silent…

Well it’s not bloody working Craig.

I find it unbelievable that a multi million pound business can get it so wrong.

There is without a shadow of a doubt no direction and driving force from above, we have stumbled and bungled from the start of the year to a place which most of struggle to see potential for recovery this season.

We will have hope but we need to see some real leadership from the owners to get us back on track and immediately!

Forget this takeover thing, who wants to buy a club at the bottom of the league with a very poor squad and confidence in their boots. It’s not going to happen. We move on.

I’ve had enough of this , I want some action and I want it now.

And I want it from the people who own the bloody club, stand up and be counted and make some bloody decisions!!!!

Exec or non exec.

And as such has been in control while the clubs has descended to new depths.

Big question is how do we get out of this mess??

And part of it is understanding how we have got into it….
 
Genuine question, once all the approvals are sorted what happens with the takeover? By then we will be likely be dead certs for relegation and surely the price for a Lg1 bound club is vastly different to an established Championship one? I know I’d want a big reduction in agreed price for the club.

Might be wrong but i didn't think Ridsdale ever had the title of 'Chairman'.
If he did was it not before his very lengthy ban?
Surely Craig was Chairman and Ridsdale CEO.

Peter is CEO - his role is the day to day running of the club, from recruitment to ground maintenance as examples.
Ian holds a non executive position as JK has pointed out, his core role is the sale.
Anything else is pure rhetoric
