5 goals and 2 assists for the season now and another game where opposition fans have name dropped his quality post match
Going to be most painful loanee to lose ever if we don’t trigger his option
He's such a well rounded midfielder. Premier League awaits one way or another.

Best complete midfielder we've had for as long as I can remember.5 goals and 2 assists for the season now and another game where opposition fans have name dropped his quality post match

Going to be an uproar when he's not signed, and rightly so, when we agreed to have a buy option in there and he's as good as he is, but we don't trigger it because we can't actually afford it.

Stupendous performances being put in week in and week out. Everything must be done to keep him - and perhaps he might like to stay!?
Him and Iversen have been our most influential and consistent players all season I think

As valid as this point is, I'd never forgive this ownership if they didn't at least pull the trigger on any option they have to offer a deal (if the quoted figure is correct). Absolute no brainer. As I’ve said, he still has to want to sign for us. Having an option doesn’t guarantee us anything. Other clubs will be able to offer him a hell of a lot more in wages.

It is what it is at that point, as long as it’s not the club causing it not to happenAs I’ve said, he still has to want to sign for us. Having an option doesn’t guarantee us anything. Other clubs will be able to offer him a hell of a lot more in wages.
The one thing you can say about Ridsdale, is he’ll make it abundantly clear to everyone if that’s the case

We could quite easily trigger the option and then offer a pitiful wage just so he can say “he chose to go elsewhere we did all we could!” 😂It is what it is at that point, as long as it’s not the club causing it not to happen

Well the first 5 words in the inverted commas are correct but not the last 5.We could quite easily trigger the option and then offer a pitiful wage just so he can say “he chose to go elsewhere we did all we could!” 😂
Why the fk haven’t we then?5 goals and 2 assists for the season now and another game where opposition fans have name dropped his quality post match

Oh hang on…..
It’s took you that long has it?As valid as this point is, I'd never forgive this ownership if they didn't at least pull the trigger on any option they have to offer a deal (if the quoted figure is correct). Absolute no brainer.
It really really is utter toss this situation we’re in.Best complete midfielder we've had for as long as I can remember.

4.5m for Devine, if true, is an absolute steal and a bargain. Barring a serious career ending injury he is virtually guaranteed to significantly increase in value, and thats not taking into account the value he brings when he is playing and the points he can help the team win. Any multi-millionaire or billionaire would surely see the investment value in purchasing him at the season end if that is an option. Its a no-brainer.
Buying Devine for the quoted fee and paying it across his remaining contract is a no brainer. It’s a guaranteed return of profit in the future and is exactly what a club like ours should be striding to do.

It depends what has been agreed with Spurs in terms of the structure of the payment.Buying Devine for the quoted fee and paying it across his remaining contract is a no brainer. It’s a guaranteed return of profit in the future and is exactly what a club like ours should be striding to do.
It really should be a no brainer. If he didn’t help fire us to promotion the profit that we could make a substantial profit on him as you rightly point out.It would be an embarrassment for the club if they didn’t take out the option to buy on Devine
Literally printing money with that purchase, everyone can see that
Should be glaringly obvious to the owners as well.
