Did I hear that right that personal terms are already agreed ahead of a move?
Riddler then goes on to allied to it's if we can make the fee happen?
Yeah personal terms already agreed with Alfie and we have exclusive rights to buy him during a specific window of time if we meet the agreed fee. But he stressed it's not a small fee and gave a "time will tell" response when asked if he thinks they can do it.
If we make it happen, I'd imagine it will be heavily structured across multiple years and represent a huge chunk of our budget. Any other business would likely be frees and loans again.
The fact that we don't have to recruit 13 players again this summer gives me some hope we can make it happen.

Lovely, if he performs the same until the end of the season just do it.Yeah personal terms already agreed with Alfie and we have exclusive rights to buy him during a specific window of time if we meet the agreed fee. I was shocked to hear that considering a poster can’t remember who, said his wages at spurs would be a big stumbling block if we tried to sign him even if we could agree a structure to the agreed fee.Did I hear that right that personal terms are already agreed ahead of a move?

If half the jobs done, and maybe because we don’t have to have such a rebuild next summer like the summer just gone, you’d hope we are able to sign him.

I was dubious about that figure that was being branded about for his wages.I was shocked to hear that considering a poster can’t remember who, said his wages at spurs would be a big stumbling block if we tried to sign him even if we could agree a structure to the agreed fee.

30k p/w wage is a lot for a young player who's yet to play a league game for them, and they only gave him an extra year extension to keep value, and loaned him out with a buy option, so a big bumper deal didn't particularly make sense.
No doubt he will have a different version of events and excuses lined up if it doesn’t happen. Like with everything where he is concerned his version of events and excuses change to make him look good or not at faultOh good, can’t wait for those comments to come back and bite him in the arse in Summer when we inevitably don’t sign him.
Why does he come out with this stuff? Sets himself up to look a twat.

It was probably put in for if he cooked and we got promoted. Rumoured £4.5m outlay would (you'd think...) would be a pittance if we got promoted, and be more than his actual value.Oh good, can’t wait for those comments to come back and bite him in the arse in Summer when we inevitably don’t sign him.

Has to be signed at £4.5m. You could sell him for double that if not more in 12 to 18 months time.
As people have said. We don’t need a big overhaul this summer.
Hopefully we can sell Osmajic and spend the money from him, plus add some frees and loans to the good core of players we have now.

Unless we are taken over then I can’t see there being £4.5 million in the budget to sign him plus add others required to replace those who have left.Has to be signed at £4.5m. You could sell him for double that if not more in 12 to 18 months time.

True this, he can't help himself, he would have been so much better saying nothing re Devine.Oh good, can’t wait for those comments to come back and bite him in the arse in Summer when we inevitably don’t sign him.

He seems to enjoy the attention.

From what I gather, a bit like the Greenwood option, the agreement was that we would pay a certain fee and match his club's wages.
Problem was (other than Greenwood not being very good) there was a promotion wage increase that was then activated meaning he was out of our budget so couldn't take up the option, and Devine got handed a new Spurs deal after getting this loan lined up which has done the same unless we get promoted.
He'll be at Wrexham next year.

Great to hear that. Made my Saturday 🙄From what I gather, a bit like the Greenwood option, the agreement was that we would pay a certain fee and match his club's wages.

I mean, if it makes you feel better, we've still got a whole Summer Transfer Thread of "will he/won't he" and a brand new season ticket campaign based on Ridsdale's vaguely hopeful "discussions with the player" to come before he inevitably joins Team Disney in August.

We might have everything in place and agreed, but the big thing that needs to be agreed is Devine wanting to return to us.
They'll be others after him in the summer, I'm really not expecting to see him back next year, despite our best efforts.
(1) North End have agreed a fee with Spurs. A fee that they must be comfortable with to agree to it.Oh good, can’t wait for those comments to come back and bite him in the arse in Summer when we inevitably don’t sign him.

(2) Alfie has agreed Personal Terms with PNE.
(3) Alfie has also, iirc, relocated back to the Warrington area where he is from.
(4) Given the above, why are people nervous? Both the Club and Alfie are obviously on the same page regards a deal as are Spurs.
(5) It'll be reet.
He'll be at Wrexham next year.
Wrexham or Wolves.
