I mean he had a quality squad at Sheffield United.

If you look at the players they had it would have been a crime to not get promoted.

And I am just stating the fact that he has a 27% win percentage and is the only manager to have us in a relegation battle since Darren Ferguson.

Ownership is a different matter.

The matter is Hecky isn't getting enough from this squad of players. We aren't scoring goals, we aren't creating chances.
Should we be a play off fighting team - absolutely not?
But this squad of players should still be competing with the likes of Blackburn to get results.

Our fans have different standards for different managers and that's a fact.

Will Keane who started well at Reading with a couple of goals but has been injured and out of the match day squad for a few games already. Don't think his body can cope.

I'd suggest ( IE groundless speculation ) PR's fingerprints are "all over this" & Heckingbottom shrugged an ''okay, why not ?"
Rather than a PR saying " You're having him whether you like him or not."
Cutting through all that, it sounds a bit of an Agent thing.

Somewhat of a double standard with the great squad at Sheffield United he inherited and the piss poor one he inherited here. It probably wouldn’t have been a crime to see us down last year.

He is having a shocker though since Christmas, but again, we where playing extremely well before hand, people have just disregarded that, people where literally saying it was the best football in years etc.

It’s extremely odd, the sudden change in performance though, something’s changed and it’s extremely puzzling.

I wouldn’t say we were playing extremely well. Some games yes. But our home form was a big concern.

Even games like shef united - we didn’t play well. We were shocking first half but we were just clinical.

We have a squad to play better football than we are doing. I’m not expecting us to get automatics but I am expecting to play better in games.

Unlikely. It was desperation stations at that point, and as the Lang signing fee showed, when PNE get desperate, the belt gets unbuckled, the pants come down and we get completely bummed. Will have definitely paid a fair chuck for those 45 mins and 3 touches.
