It's a genuine stroke of genius. I can see shit loads of Everton fans turning out for this.Probably take more than we'd have had at home. I've spoken to a bunch of neutrals who are up for it already.
Confirmed Carabao Cup 1st Round Draw. (Huddersfield - Goodison Park)
I’m not so sure they’d give a stuff about this match. If they want to revisit Goodison Park, they can do so every other week and watch the Women’s team representing Everton. It's a genuine stroke of genius. I can see shit loads of Everton fans turning out for this.

Maybe even more than shit loads if we could somehow get Harrison Armstrong in the team?
Been twice in the Cup. One FA cup and one League cup. Moyes was our manager in the first game and Everton’s in the second.Gutted. I come back off holiday on that day, don’t know whether I can make it back on time. Always wanted to go to goodison. I might have to do some superior driving on the way back to make it in time.
Lost both games 2-0 unfortunately.

Wonder if this is a freebie, or we have paid Everton a fee for this, or is it they take a % cut of the gate as a fee? Can see there being a few Evertonians going just for the curiosity of seeing someone else playing there for old times sake.
Be interesting to see what the pricings are. Maybe quite a bit higher than if it was at Deepdale.
Did I see it is a Saturday as well or is it me? Round 1 matches have never been as exciting!

My Everton supporting colleague, has said only the lower tiers have a safety license on each stand. The upper decks won't be open

.Gonna guess I'm not the only one to mention this.
Does anyone else keep getting minor palpitations every time they see this Confirmed thread at the top of the "What's New?" list today?

They do actually have a licence for the top tiers but they have them covered to make the stadium look more full as they don't need that many seats.
I was sat with the Everton fans that day as i couldnt get in the PNE end, im sure there were more PNE shirts around me than Everton onesJanuary 2000. Unsworth and Joe Max Moore scored.

From what I remember it was a bit like our old west stand for away supporters. One of my favourite grounds that I've been to when we played them in the cup. Old school.
Will this be the first time we've ever played a home game away from Deepdale?

That’s the one mate. Pretty sure it was Stockport. Was it when we’d ripped up the plastic to go back to grass so the pitch wasn’t ready?94' v Stockport possiby?
