Confirmed 3rd Kit Details, Cha.

My dad's mates are all in their late 50s/ early 60s and all say 'Cha' regularly.
Yeah, most prevalent amongst that kind of age group, I reckon.

Plenty of early-mid 20s lads seem to have picked it up too.

Personally, I never use the word.

I have done in the last ten years or so but my eldest brother (in his 50's) has used it as long as I can remember.

Personally not a fan, doesn't look like a Preston top to me with that colour scheme. I'm not upset about it, as WAGU is suggesting, but it's fucking embarrassing imo having Cha on the back of it.

Easily our best kit of this season’s lot. Class that. Divides opinion but I’m good with it.

I like how it’s going to stand out against the grass too. Maybe our players will be able to see and pass to each other.

Something a bit different, innit.

The cha thing is a bit sad.

People walking behind might think the v has come off in the wash.

Its like Midlands teams have duck or North East teams having pet on the back. Would Salford have chuck?

Very strange.
I’d have preferred a hieroglyph of a butter pie, personally.

Where did Cha come from in, "Preston," dialect?

Its not something i remember ever being used as I grew up, Im curious as to where its come from.

Mooching, yes, I often heard that but not Cha.
Know a few chaps from Sunderland/Durham way and they insist it’s evolved from charver, or some such, from years back from round those parts. Essentially a young div dressed in trackies. That’s what they reckon anyway and I’ve no idea personally.
