Well he's doing pre season eith Brig at the moment. Yesterday they played Fleetwood he was up against ched Evans

What position has he been playing at Brig?

Do hope they're letting him play as LWB or attacking LB instead of shoehorning him in at CB.

This may sound like a stupid question,,,,,
If someone in a similar position to Mr Muir went to another club and absolutely had a "blinder" in a different position (ie lwb instead of CB) would PNE be able to swallow their pride and say we made a big balls up and were wrong. Would you please return to us in the "new" position.

Have asked him but not got a reply yet.
He's been playing left centre back in a back four alongside Nat Percival-Knight, who most noticeablely played over 100 games in League One for Bradford City but is now 39 and very much the elder statesman of the current Brig squad.

Brig normally play it out from the back but very much a scratch team at the moment so Josh played a lot of early long balls - that's probably okay in the games against league opposition when Brig won't have much of the ball but if plays for Brig at Thornton Cleveleys and against Ramsbottom in the next couple of weeks he'll be expected to show more composure.

Fleetwood had the luxury of changing their entire side at half- time so had completely fresh legs whereas Brig could only bring on other trialists who inevitably don't know each other so the second half was practically a walkover. Didn't help Josh's cause that the Brig keeper has recently been released by AFC Fylde under 21s and looked out of his depth last year when playing for Fulwood Amateur as an emergency loan four leagues below where Brig play.

He’s said he’s enjoying it, hope it works out for him.

Mens football now.
