Fair play to his agent getting him a 3 year deal on what I can imagine is a decent wedge every week.

Ben epitomised one of the most tedious unambitious five years of football in our history.

And as captain, being an automatic pick when fit, put the blocks on discovering the best team blend. Especially in a Whiteman plus one midfield.

Leaving may be the best and most liberating thing the king of the sideways pass could have done.

He's not good.

Not bad.

Just meh.

No ill will. Decent enough last season.

Hope it works out in Disneyland.

I always wish players good luck at there new club , I will make an exception on this occasion , good riddance
 
Will be quite a forgettable player for me, he was never on the same level as Pearson but just a steady performer who was alright last season when paired with some better midfielders.

Getting that amount overall for him is good business and allows us to reinvest into the squad.

It only took an interested party to come forward and then he made some comments. It's so much better that we dont have him around anymore, below par club captain, average player and we have got some money. Shame we are going to spend it on some of the names mentioned on here. Just more average squad fillers imo.

The signings and players we are linked with don't reflect the business we did with Devine. It doesn't make much sense to me, he is a player that can take you places, the rest simply don't.
 
He played his best football at the start of last season allowing Armstrong to move forward. Agree it has been a boring 5 years not helped when playing at home with 5 at the back and 2 holding midfielders at times. I do think his effort was there and never shirked a tackle unlike some we’ve had in the past.
