Confirmed Ben Whiteman - Sold

There are 3 sides to every story. My side, your side and the truth. I doubt anyone comes out of this with clean hands.

We obviously don't know the full facts but I can't see what else the Club could've done differently.

Once they realised he wanted off they need to get the best deal & on the face of it they've done that.

I can’t believe people defending BW for me there are ways of doing the decent thing . For all the years I have supported PNE I can never remember us stopping a player from moving on , to throw his toys out the pram saying what he did is a disgrace not only to PNE but more so the fans .

I don’t blame him moving on if on the face of it the wages and a three year contract set him and his family up. There are decent ways of doing things. Total disrespect to all who have payed and supported him the last five years .

Perhaps I’m just old fashioned, as today nobody seems to give stuff as long as they are ok.

It sounds like we prevented him moving on last summer to Watford, so there’s one.

What did he actually say?

I am not arguing that. I agree with you and BPIG.

It is when people say "it's a short career (true)" as if they are unable to do any other kind of work post football.
They don't say like that, though.

They say it in the context of maximising earnings whilst they can.

But if his post football career is 25 years, then he'd need to earn 70k a year to earn the same as he will in a single year of his Wrexham deal.

If anything, Heck also greased the wheels of movement by basically telling Whiteman he was done here.

It was very ballsy management there and for once with Heck's kick offs it's worked.

Yeah I don't mind that at all.

Once someone's crossed a line you've got to bomb them out or the toxicity will spread like wildfire.

There was simply no need to go about it the way he did. How many times has this club stood in someone's way? Virtually never. Disney boy has shown his true colours - really poor from him.

Whiteman is looking miserable in my opinion, sitting on the bench?
Remember, Phil Parkinson parents were PNE season tickets holders for a while.
