Season starts next week 😁...with the new team...hopefully with Pol, Thompson, Hughes and Lindsay as no more than bench warmers. If not sold.

Im OK with Hecky atm but starting Pol over Offiah was a criminal offence

Think it was Carlisle that we played in our first game at deepdale after going into L1. We got beat (3-1??) and there was a sense that, because we'd just been a championship team, L1 would be easy. I get a sense of that today - it looks and feels like we thought we just had to turn up, but the Notlobs clearly wanted it more. Still no excuse for us not reinforcing defence earlier in the window, and things can only get better. I think.....Still no excuse for that starting XI though, that's on Hecky not to see how Pol was getting rinsed.

Colchester at home. Lost 4-2. They were also our last ever game in League One as many will remember.
 
I’m not getting despondent after the first game. I don’t understand why he started without Offiah on the pitch it makes absolutely no sense. We were worse than tripe in the first half and deserved what we got, we made Bolton look like Real Madrid!

We still have 4-5 new players to come in and gel so still a lot to be happy about. I’m sure as hell not letting go of the positivity for a poor first game, I will worry after about 15 if things don’t change. Stay positive we have a lot to be grateful for this summer.

Erabi .. two games two goals .. enough said
We were shit but made enough chances to at least scab a draw
If we are going to play with full backs. Vukavic ‘s crossing ability puts him in poll position ..

Heckingbottom to blame for that awful team selection .. and late subs. If he’d made the justified changes at half time I reckon we could have won it .

It's nice to see someone demanding the ball whilst also actually having the quality to do something with it.

Hopefully starts next week.
 
Gutted for Lindsay. I don't know how you miss that, but I'm not a professional footballer.

Storey Pol and Thompson were firmly torn new assholes today.

Erabi Small Offiah and Leroy HAVE to start against Wolves
