But at least there are some green shoots in that shit, Leroy looks a player. Devine was finding his form. Erabi showing some proper quality.

Hopefully we never see that particular back 4 again. And hopefully never the Thompson McCann partnership either.

Subs looked good. Most of them need to start next week. We should have picked up a point there which wouldn’t have been a bad result.

Think it was Carlisle that we played in our first game at deepdale after going into L1. We got beat (3-1??) and there was a sense that, because we'd just been a championship team, L1 would be easy. I get a sense of that today - it looks and feels like we thought we just had to turn up, but the Notlobs clearly wanted it more. Still no excuse for us not reinforcing defence earlier in the window, and things can only get better. I think.....Still no excuse for that starting XI though, that's on Hecky not to see how Pol was getting rinsed.

Really liked to see Leroy having the confidence to drop deep and demand the ball in that situation, knowing he could do something with it. Very positive sign from a new player.

Awful 1st half. Riddled with mistakes.

I’m very, very happy we’ve brought that French lad in - he looks quality. Small and vukevic played ok when they came on, as did Offiah. I also really like Erabi. We had enough chances to win that game, and gifted them one of their goals too. Should’ve won. Most of these new lads are streets ahead of what we had previously. Still work to do though.

We deserved sod all from that game
