I was mearly pointing out that you failed to mention the most memorable set peice from yesterday.

Overall since Peter Murphy came to the club our set peices have been disappointing.

Now maybe it is just the lack of quality of finishing but I have no idea what Murphy brings to the table.

Interesting that at Everton Murphy was out on the touch line barking orders for pretty much every dead ball including throw ins. Devine at one point looked like he told him to fuck off as he was stood over a free kick near the halfway line. Yesterday he wasn’t to be seen. He just seems to add to the confusion when our lads are taking set pieces.

I would get shut of him. Can’t remember a single “original” set piece since he has been here that has resulted in a goal.

I totally agree ….our set pieces are feckin awful and the one you’re describing that Devine normally takes from the half way line probably sums up the whole sorry package.

Personally think an out and out LB is more of a priority than a CB. Vuk is great going forward but pretty crap defensively, definitely more of a wingback. Hughes should be absolutely nowhere near LB.

Wouldn’t mind us going after Will Ferry from Dundee Utd, only got a year left and would be an upgrade on what we have.
