I find it strange that they aren’t prepared to let him go out on loan…

I was on a Liverpool forum earlier and they were saying that they have 8 midfielders including McConnell , Bajcetic and Jones.

They were speculating that they might bring another midfielder in…..

Jones is training on his own and wasn't involved yesterday as he wants to go to Inter. Waiting for Inter to agree the fee I think.

I saw Bajcetic linked with Getafe on loan.

That still leaves them with several midfielders ahead of McConnell...Nyoni is 19 and ahead of him in the pecking order. He's not going to get any meaningful game time at all so it makes no sense. Maybe they are delaying until later in the window or for them to sign another midfielder.
