Factoring in our GD, we are already 5 points adrift with fixtures coming up that I’d be concerned about at the best of times.
We employ some truly awful players, the gulf in quality this evening was hilarious. Fact we were 11/2 to win tonight against a team in the same division is absolutely embarrassing, but justified.

And there lies the problem, clapping that SHIT.I and a few others clapped them, but mainly only us on the coaches still there, most in cars had started leaving earlier, one or two giving players the V's...
All those thinking relegation will allow us to reset, the best football and days out where in the lower divisions, well you better accept getting used to it.Agree Joan, league 1 was bloody awful last time we were in it....i dont buy all this "relegation will do us good" but sadly and predictively its happening because with this shit squad there is no hope and how are we even supposed to attract any decent players in January when we are rock bottom and destined for the drop?....hopeless situation and all the clubs own making, their so out of touch it beggers beliefe....sick of the lot of them!
There will be no investment from the present regime, the budget will be cut for the division, there will be no promotion war chest.
If we can't find a buyer in the championship it won't happen in League 1.
We will be signing lower league dross and fighting off relegation down to League 2.
Seen it all before, done it got the T-shirt and all that, was in my late teens, early 20's won't be arsed doing it again in my 60's.🥴😡
Some had put in the effort, and as many have said, this isn't Alexanders fault..This isn't a pop Alan as I am genuinely interested as to why?
I have done the V's in the past many times..

Went to my first game in 1976 , was at Aldershot as the low , genuinely got back to the car and not felt this low watching my team for a long time , I see nothing and feel nothing for this team.
I genuinely can only see a sliver of hope with new owners , I always try and see the positives but that tonight was gutless after the first went in , I’ll get stick for saying we are down at this stage of the season , but these players will never get us close to 21st , maybe in the long term we might get new owners and bounce back from League One.
Long drive home on my own , I’ll always support them , been at the all the lower league grounds , weirdly this feels worse.

My only criticism Terry is that he’s come in knowing that we’ve been awful for 9 months at least and has kept exactly the same shape.these posts about alexander, deary me, blokes signed (checks notes) no one, he has come in probably on bull shit promises by the ring master ridsdale, GA cant polish turds no one can, this is on rivitts penrose & ridsdale they own this fiasco.
It's not a new thing to say but it's becoming blatantly obvious that a whole root and branch purge of the back room staff is required - not just a change of the Management couple.
Allied to that the removal of the Man who has not only wasted millions but constantly overseen signings and lazy renewals that give Managers only one way of playing - with a back 5.
And not sanctioned the signing of 2 Centre Backs that would make all the difference.
Even just the last 2 games, compare both Millwall and Birmingham's CB's to ours.
Neither Storey, Hughes or 3rd choice Stoke CB years ago, Lindsay would get a game in any other Championship Team.
My lad (to me generously) said Storey 'just might' be a squad player at a lower Championship Club.

Plus different times now, clubs cant just go and spend like Birmingham did. With the squad cost ratio rules I think we will even struggle to compete with some teams in league 1 and could end up like Oxford did with Mills. Having players wanting to leave but us not wanting to seek as we can’t replace them.Reading, Blackpool, Bradford, Huddersfield, Luton, Barnsley etc.would disagree.
Club from top to bottom is a shambles and years of poor recruitment and squad planning has finally caught up with us.
Maybe one or two, the rest where a total embarrassment. Non more so than Storey, he turned his back faster than an Italian world war 2 soldier. Some had put in the effort, and as many have said, this isn't Alexanders fault..

This isn’t like a treacy, st ledger or billy jones were they were better than league one and were out performing our performances in the league.
I can’t name one player who another championship club would want. And if they wanted to leave just let them. In fact i would drive them for free.

How you clapped after watching that shite is baffling. Those who did are part of the problemI and a few others clapped them, but mainly only us on the coaches still there, most in cars had started leaving earlier, one or two giving players the V's...

Fair assessment. What was the point in sacking Hecky if we are just going to appoint a fella who'll approach it the same way. FWIW I really want Grezza to succeed. My only criticism Terry is that he’s come in knowing that we’ve been awful for 9 months at least and has kept exactly the same shape.

I was very annoyed at last statement -it was on the verge of being misleading. It’ll be very interesting how Hemmings and he squirm out of this one. These 2 muppets have been sold a very fast one - and fallen for it . You’ll seeCan we have an updated statement from Penrose about the takeover and how far we are off it and reassurance that we will do everything in our power to support GA to stay in the league by spending big in the January transfer window
Said this to my lad, wholesale changes required.Start with the brave and hard option of not starting a good few who think they have the divine right to be picked.
Sitting on a bench will happily reduce their value and appeal to other clubs.
A hopeless and desperate attempt to answer your question, but it’s the best I have got
We have a squad of 20 odd Players.
From the keeper, who needs a rest, to the front line, he might as well play a totally different 6 or 7.
Shake them up.
Get the fitness levels up for a start by really putting them through the paces.
The medical staff and so called sports science guys might say 'no, you can't do that' - well they (the Players) need some serious intensity inputting.
And the fitness and sports science people need replacing - either they have become complacent or are just not up to the job, but we are the un-fittest team in the Division.
In the short term just pick the guys fit enough to play and work the rest like hell to be able to compete - properly!
Saying he's resigned!!Hope we get a statement from Mr Ridsdale.
There's relegated teams out there much better than us struggling in league 1
Oh well, at least we will get to and from the Club Car park easily enough!Think we are looking at 6 straight defeats with our next 6 games.
By December i can see there being barely anyone on the matches.
You and me both scally. I’m so darn angry and fed up with it all.Agree Joan, league 1 was bloody awful last time we were in it....i dont buy all this "relegation will do us good" but sadly and predictively its happening because with this shit squad there is no hope and how are we even supposed to attract any decent players in January when we are rock bottom and destined for the drop?....hopeless situation and all the clubs own making, their so out of touch it beggers beliefe....sick of the lot of them!
