Dont shoot the messenger boys. Add to that the Centre half from Forest was all done but hecky said he didn't want him, you couldn't write this.

Hecky has got us in the mess we are in but Pr and Ch do have take some blame also.

Massive repair job January looking at League 1 rebuild the Grezza will be okay.

Stop making shit up.

We didn’t need anyone to take them off our hands. Just don’t give them contract extensions FFS.
Ah, but then they'd have to do some actual work. Who can be bothered phoning agents and sorting out new deals when there's a perfectly crisp million pound contract for Liam Lindsay sat ready to go in the top drawer.

My fear is that these players are not 'having' Grezza at all.

He's not a big enough 'name' for them in the way they'd have been star-struck by Gerrard or Keane.

My suspicion is they see it as uninspiring and, while the fan base has affection for GA, the players have no such attachment.

He didn't sign them, they don't know him, he's only come from Bradford, he wasn't a big name player, who is he to tell them what to do? etc.

If he tries to get tough, they'll simply shrug their shoulders, cry injury and get on the phone to their agent.

All his sincere talk about pride, commitment, doing it for your family, etc is being treated with contempt on the pitch by a bunch of mercenaries who have no interest other than the pay cheque.

He's preaching hard work and running to a group that clearly doesn't want to put their bodies on the line, let alone die for the shirt in the way GA and CL did.

More than that, these players may be lacking many things but they're not stupid when it comes to their careers.

It's not even November, but it would take a miracle to keep us up - and they'll know that.

There are too many 'tossing it off' (to use footballers' parlance) and self-preservation will get even more obvious as the months drag by (although I expect several miraculous recoveries towards the end of the season to tempt gullible new buyers in the summer).

As I said the other day, the rush to the exit come May will be a sight to behold.

The only positive is that we'll be well shut of these gutless tossers.

Fingers crossed.😤

Really rather worrying. PH shoulders plenty of the blame for the current predicament, but I can point to Watford, Bristol City & Bolton games where we really should have been taking home all 3 points.

Last 2 games, I can't even come close to a justification that we deserved more than we got.

GA has to show a lot in order to prove he is anything more than a tactically inflexible L1 agricultural manager. He's inherited a horror show no doubt, but the first 2 showings have been dire

We have started both games reasonably (not well) but then drifted away horribly.

Not hecky but add the horrendous QPR match also

The major irony being that absolutely none of the cunts are fit to lace Grezza’s boots.

I have been in contact with someone from the club regarding the state we are in and here are some of their replies.

The representative doesn't think the players are as bad as they are being made out to be. I disagreed League 1 at best there less than a handful who are up to standard

Hecky has sole say in who he wanted and the CEO/OWNER/CHAIRMAN went out and did their best to get them, no due diligence was done on them apart from a couple unnamed that were not really wanted but Hecky got his way. He said they couldn't challenge him its in his contract sole say on transfers and team selection.

Hecky didn't want Dobbin last season but the hierarchy insisted on him coming - thank god.

I criticised the hierarchy for not bring Hecky to book about his poor signings, poor tactics and his own poor performance. They did have meetings but nothing changed, in his contract he had sole say in everything team related and any interference and he would have been off.
How come we lost 5 strikers in the summer and only signed 2 recognised in kenny and Erabi? Reply was we signed 4 as Lang and Delano are strikers. Not his fault if they aren't scoring.

Why did we waste over £2 million on lang, Pompey pulled our pants down with that transfer. HECKY insisted that was who he wanted so the hirearchy backed him and got him. He's been unlucky with injuries having arrived with one then got another.

Why wasn't the defence strengthened 2/3 years ago, only Gibson of the CH's has changed , Storey, Hughes and Lindsay should have gone as they are too slow at this level. Nobody came in for them they are under contract where do they go?

There is little doubt that a lot of this mess is on Hecky and it clearly shows what a poor manager he is. The writing was on the wall in his first season when we were nearly relegated. He should have been potted at end of his second season. He just walks away with his pay off doing punidtry on Sky.

No news on the proposed take over.

Last night was no surprise and having gone down to 10 men we only conceded 1 goal. Don't forget Brum had not won at home all season and their fans get on their backs very quickly.

I can't see us getting out of this mess as those teams around us who you think would struggle are getting valuable points Cardiff, Bolton etc.

Watford conceded 4 at the weekend, 5 last night so it shows how bad we are when they turned us over.

I feel for Grezza as the January window will not come soon enough and who will want to come. I have listened to him post Brum , he can't slag the players off in public I get that but his comments were wrong, the majority of those players are either out of their depth, too slow and switch off at vital times. You can get away with it in Lge 1 and 2 but not in the championship.

Its a tough watch at the moment and with Wrexham and West Brom to come its going to get even tougher
Who sanctioned the contract extensions of said defence?
This abrogation of responsibility for signings from the ownership to PH? Well more fool Hemmings and co. That’s just crass business logic. And if you don’t have some say in the signings you start to tighten the purse strings and no one has any say. Besides not being able to sell the club, Hemmings and advisors are pro big particularly inept at maintaining a decent playing outfit. Trevor will be turning in his grave.

Spot on assessment from Eyre again.

"Really outdated" is the only way to describe how we play, really. Which is even worse when you think how long ago it was now that we saw intricate movement, clever pressing and interesting routines back under Alex Neil.
Half the fanbase spent his last two and a half years saying how bored they were and complaining about him being dour

I think they’ve seen how easy it is to see off 1 manager whilst avoiding any flack themselves, and now would rather do that again than put the work in.

Very worrying. 2 wins in quick succession would completely change the atmosphere but this squad won’t make that happen.
