Ha! And I bet that was said as a joke.😉 However the old name for that city is indeed Snottingham (the "S" was dropped many years ago). Comes from the Saxon tribe that settled there - the Snot Tribe...(probably a different spelling but right pronunciation!). There is still a district - Sneightingham which was the tribal centre in the city.

Just thought I'd throw that in, though I will probably wish I'd never bothered!😀

From reports he coming on season-long loan and can play in the center of midfield or as a winger. he got great pace and skill.
