10 years since Wembley
Jesus Christ I drank some ale that day. Remember going to the green man after the game with the aim of it to have 1 and then head into London to celebrate. Ended up staying there til close. The atmosphere was fantastic
Lets hope that in 10 years time, they / we aren't re-posting "20 Years Ago"... 🙄 😬
That two minutes just before half-time when they first missed a chance to pull on back and then we went up the other end and got our third was the pivotal period in that match. Before I was still apprehensive after it I dared to feel that we were going to make it but even then it was only when Beckford stuck away our fourth that I began to feel confident.
I'd been out in Richmond the night before and was feeling awful that morning, the football definitely brought me back round again, we could do with players with their passion in the squad these days

There’s every chance that day will be as good as it gets for a lot of us and already has been, sadly, for quite a few.
Is it the hope that kills you? Or the despair? Or the drugs and alcohol?
Probably all of the above…

But they are great ones! Now distant memories 🤔😟
the mighty Swindon Town.
Swindon is a nice place. I went there a long time ago to support the North End and the occasion was marred by bottle throwing in their supporters club by idiots who supposedly supported us - I still feel a sense of shame about that. Maybe they will come up to join us in the Championship some day - assuming we have not risen higher - and if so I might be tempted to travel out there for the match.

Can anyone think of any area where we have improved as a club since that promotion 10 wasted years ago?
