A nice break for the boys

I can see the Spain trip having a very detrimental affect should performances not improve in the next two games. Newcastle and our local rivals Blackpool. Can you imagine the backlash should we not pick up any points up over what will be two very difficult games, especially on the back of a trip to Spain.

I have no doubts they will train over there but for me it couldn't have come at a worse time.

The timing of this little jaunt, as things stand, is atrocious.

I`m pissed of that the team have been lazy prideless wimps, and that the club tells me it is so short of money we may go bankrupt, or whatever.

The moment of truth isn`t here yet, though..it will how they perform on their return.

If they are still crap...the club and it`s supporters are going to be aa a low comparable to parts of Simmo`s time. Jeez...how the feck did it come to this?

If they pull it off...the division is still wide open. And the training break will prove to have stopped the rot.

If this training week in spain pays of and we go on a good run in this mid season beating the lashers in the proccess there's a few people going to have to say well done to AI and DS, doubt anyone will do though.

If it goes tits up and it becomes a complete waste of money and were playing the same old shite we have been doing the past 7 or 8 games the feel free to slate AI and DS.

But at the moment no one on here knows if it will pay off or not, so how about we wait and see before slagging it off. And yes i am sitting on the fence in regards to this

Its such an easy life inisnt slagging people of without having to make the decsions yourself. Whats the hardest descion you and Joan make what colour to paint your walls. Runing cost from 4 million to ten million in 2009 expalin that i keep asking Joan how she fund the running of the club but i never get an answera. Its pretty easy really to find out all the answeras to your question as Joan as found out in the past just ring the chairman he will get back to you. All the guys at the trsut meeting spent 3 hours questioning the chairman and not one as said a word on here since that meeting..........

You cut your cloth accordingly and the fact were 10m in debt is Dereks fault and no other but you over look this in your constant praise of the guy . We have produced 1 player in 12 years of our own and what did Derek do about this ? just wasted more money season after season .

As for Derek gate crashing the NEST meeting , i see that as i saw his pathetic Q&A to coincide with the first meeting , DESPERATE .

Did i say you had anything to do with it ? put your finger away or point it elsewere mate but get a grip . I would have kept scholes on and let him do what hes paid to do instead of trying to wear so many hats that non fit any more . I would have brought in a couple of old north end lads to run the youth development years ago instead of letting it stagnate . I would not swan about labaling us a small club and spewing negatives at every oppertunity to anyone who would listed , i would talk us up and see were that takes us . as for getting personal i couldnt give a shit if thats your level my shoulders are broad enough . As for ringing him i would but i have no respect for the bloke any more , that all went when the negativity started .

If half of that lost you mate maybe you should go back and read your own rant because it might clear my reaction up for you . I dont find it easy to blame the chairman i just know if the organs not working you dont point your finger at the crowd gatherd to listen you go to the grinder . See Dereks your mate and while i have no problem with that it makes it difficult for you to say anything thats not totaly in his favour .

Running cost have gone up ten fold like the running cost of your house have gone up. Who pays for it all? Tony Scholes soon fuck of mate when the digital money ran out. Who needs a Tony Scholes anyway. Your living in cloud cuckoo land he was on abig earner at the time. Crowds don't cover our cost. weve created a monster and we have to apy for it but weve done brilliently Shaws never said were a small club or we lack ambition show me were hes eevr said that. thas come from here. Forth stand unbveleibablt to pull that one of all with funding and it brings good reveue us. I will Call Shaw if i feel hes not doing things right for this club but i can't. Were above the likes of the Sheffiled clubs who avearge about 8000 more fans than us a week. We are in divsion higer than clubs like southampton, Nowrich Charlton ect. The mighty Charlton only 6 years ago in the prem get beat by a non league side. Remember when we used to eneter the FA Cup in the first rd we don''t go in now till the third rd. Remember when we thought stockport away was a tough game. It beggers befief. We had a shit day out at watford and the rightly got stick especaullly from me but look at the bigger picture. Look at Ipswich spent millions and were are they comapred to us.
 
What a joke this is, play crap for 10 games, and get rewarded with a holiday, when your clubs skint, i feel sick.
 
i agree mate. I would ahve taken them to an army traing camp for the rest of the internation break but ones things for sure if they don;t compete when they get back there will no hiding place for them. They are under pressure now and they know it. Deliver or esle is the word going out to them. can't wait for the next two games lets see them put in half hearted dispaly like they did at Watford and try and get away with it.

Its his fault we budget above our means isnt it ? or should i point the finger at you and me or maybe the tea lady . And tony scholes was sacked not he walked out on us because the TV money was gone so i dont understand that . And as for charlton i tell you what give us 10 years in the premiership and ill gladly take a year in division 1 as im sure we all would . You say we had a shit day out at watford like its a 1 off what about QPR Reading Watford thats 3 alone in the last few weeks or do we only count them 1 in every 3 ? its now 1 win in 7 and 3 hard matches in front of us and weve already slipped to mid table . As for when did Derek call us small , He said we were a small fish in a big pond 2 years ago on radio lancashire when blackpool and burnley and preston had a chairmans night , i remember it as im sure many do hes also reminded us were punching above our weight so many times its depressing and that amounts to the same thing . We do need fresh ideas at boardroom level and much better PR too and thats a fact whether you like it or not , see i wont call him names and on occasion ive asked people not to because i think hes a grand bloke but i just think the job is now too big for him ( as he said himself at the Q&A ) .

Are you completely thick, its not for me to answer how I would run the club its for the chairman and he has said he has no idea. He has run the club getting into so much debt not ME you idiot, your questions are better directed in the right place don't you think. The answer however, will be, "I don't know". Bloody unbelievable, the chairman runs the club into debt and his side kick expects me to explain how to get them out of it. Dear oh dear, just who is running this club🙄

As for decisions you half baked ignorant pillock, (rest assured its mean't personally) I have children and grandchildren all of whom are way, way more important to me than you, the chairman or this tin pot club.

the xmas bash in dublin should have been after the watford game , at least it is the international break , then back in training today , in preston , come the 12th dec after the plymouth game they can plan for the game ahead on the 19th forest away , training in preston , now wots wrong with that , ...... come on preston get ur act together instead of taking the piss .

Is this in answer to my question?
I have spoken to Derek recently and given him my views and suggestions just as he has given me his side of the story - what was said was between the two of us but I have not changed my views/attitude toward the man and the situation following this discussion.
It is not for us to run the club - that's the Chairman and Boards job - if they can't hack it then they should resign and let someone else have a go. Please don't tell me there is no-one else - that was the excuse used when Derek took over - there's always someone who will step in, even as a temporary measure.
The figures don't add up surf - we reportedly had money for a player to come in and pay existing players wages but a few weeks later we had to sell our best player to survive. Now it may be that we never had the money in the first place or that we are not as close to Administration as the Chairman likes to make out - I don't know, both could have been either the truth or a bluff. What I do know is that the people who run the club are saying that PNE are over £16 in debt and that debt is rising - who will take responsibility for that?
Derek may be a PNE fan and an all round good egg - he has worked wonders in the past under strict financial restraints but the club can't carry on losing money hand over fist without doing something to curtail the excesses of management and players. How can they say on one hand that the club has no money to advertise and market the product yet give the players etc 1st class travel, accommodation and a training trip to Spain? If the club is to keep pleading poverty then it's time to start cutting the cloth to suit the means.
