Advertising/bot threads

Apologies to forum members for the continuing spam...Admin are working on the problem, and the temp mods are deleting constantly.

My internet is running painfully slowly, but I am deleting posts all the time.

This latest spammer is replying to threads which means more clicks to delete than when they start new threads and we can delete the whole thread.

Basically it's all loomz fault. He's created a honeypot so now all the bots think we allow an advertising thread. 29 posts are deleted on this thread alone

What absolute bells they are.

Is it individual people doing it or is it a programme that is intelligent enough to do it without human assistance?

Think most of these are bots..they are constantly registering and posting. And until banned, some of them are posting every three or four minutes. In addition..a couple of `sleepers` have appeared the last couple of days...older registrations that have no sig, and suddenly start posting after weeks or months.

Admin and senior mods can. We juniors can only delete sadly hence why we get so many threads until a grown up arrives

We have asked for temporary banning powers until this is sorted....but Admin have yet to look into it`s feasability and get back to us.

This feckin` Yvonnebot can post every 30 secs!

ADMIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Next one`s coming in the Prediction League forum....keeping the bot profile open now to see where they will pop up next...🙂

It`s like that fair thing where you bash crocodiles or rats as they pop out...
