So Devine and Dobbin have both scored outstanding goals with right and left footed shots now.

Being that comfortable with both feet is going to get us a fair few goals this season.

One of the things that stood out for me immediately was how he supported the wide players defensively. He’s got everything others have mentioned and going forward he’s (so far) as good as anyone I’ve ever seen in the last 50 years - maybe barring McGeady. However, it’s the work off the ball defensively and his awareness that takes him that step further.

The obvious proviso is the number of games he’s played and can he keep going. I think he can and when his fitness builds further ….
