Devine responded with a 'I prefer not to speak' type gif. There are unsubstantiated rumours, and I will stress unsubstantiated, that he was substituted off because of his attitude to the coaching staff.

All I'm saying is Devine's 'I prefer not to speak' gif and other subtweeting nonsense doesn't exactly calm the notion he's not taking to Alexander. He might not intend to convey that message with such a gif, but it's certainly not helpful to post it at all.

I saw a reel that someone posted on Facebook this morning….

Alexander definitely putting them through their paces , not a jog in sight , all sprints and plenty of them…….

When he first came here on loan I didn’t have Devine down as a trouble maker and a shirker
but that is what he is maybe turning into….

If true, what doesn’t he like about Alexander and the new coaching regime ??

Good job signing him £6 million was "guaranteed profit" so we can just move him on for me if he is a bad apple 🙄

I think that he will be moved on in January if it’s true about his attitude….

I do want to stress I don't have anything that suggests that it's definitely the case he has an attitude. If true however and the club does move him on, they would have my full support.

Besides if we're still in the bottom three might need to free up the wage for relegation anyway
 
It's one of those for me, that he's probably an arrogant kid whose had smoke blown up he ass all his football life....for me, he certainly comes across like that when interviewed.

All fine when he's playing well and we're winning etc, nobody bats an eyelid.....but we we aren't and he isn't.

If the rumours of a fall out are true, hope he knuckles under and sorts himself out....lm with Alexander all the way.

He's clearly a talented lad but he needs to shape himself and quickly.

Again , if true , maybe he had it a bit cozy under Heckingbottom and doesn’t like the coaching regime that Alexander is starting to impose 🤷🏼‍♂️

It’s all rumours and assumptions anyway , so let’s see what unfolds

Probably the fact he’s having to do a shit load of sprints after a weekend on the piss with his mates

Just wondering if the agreement with Spurs and Devine were a bit more water tight than we thought and once PNE said they wanted him he had to complete the deal, now he wants out?

Devine will also have had an awful lot of media training at Tottenham, it’s something the big clubs are big on. You can sense it in their cliched interviews, their sanitised answers, the way they say virtually nothing. He’s not going to post something on Instagram (if that’s where it’s from) about a falling out within the club.
