Another of those posts that reminds you that the club isn't the team, its the supporters and the relationships and memories you make along the way. No one can take those away no matter who is in the dugout or the boardroom.

Sorry to hear of you loss but hopefully those memories of the special times spent with your dad will provide some comfort.

Very sorry for your loss, Pilks. Condolences to you and the family.

Your dad looks like a lovely man in that photo and it sounds like he was a great dad.

Rest in peace, Bob.

I didn’t know your Dad personally but I have seen him around Deepdale. Probably on St Greg’s coach and PSG coach that Geoff Ollerton used to run. I also know Harry Billington very well. I’m so very sorry for your loss and he is a loss to us all. God bless him and you and your family, you are in our thoughts.

RIP Bob , a lovely , heartfelt and tough post from a loving son , brought back memories of my Dad who passed a couple of years back and the wonderful times we had watching the North End up and down the land , he joins THE Gentry and will be hoping we make it to the promised land , whilst I didn’t know Bob I live in Walton Le Dale so I’m sure would have passed at some point ….

It’s tough PNE Pilks , they say time is a healer and it is but it’s still tough , anything I can do just PM me just for a chat or a meet up if required.

Chris

Great words Simo... brought a tear to my eye.

Sincere condolences to you and your family @PNEpilks.
My Father-in-law passed away between Christmas and the New year. He hadn't been on with me since covid kicked off, but I still think about him on the games. The memories will always be there. R.I.P. Mr Pilkington.
