The thing is, without some clear communication from the club, fans will speculate that it is on or off. All we know is that there have been a bid that has been accepted but there was still complex discussions going on, that was 2 months ago, anything could have happened since then. We still don't know if it has even been submitted for approval.

I am not after running updates, but some communication to their customers after the shit show of a start to the season, is the very least we deserve.......in my opinion.

As that article said, there is a lack of responsibility from anyone at the club.

He was there with the minority shareholder in his consortium as I said.
The tin foil hat brigade that think it’s all made up need to go and have a chat with trump to update their better conspiracy stories.
 
I was being a bit flippant with my comments about season tickets, more about how this club works with cloaks and daggers.

I was 100% convinced in this takeover when Zedan was at Deepdale, coincidentally just as season tickets prices were about to be announced (or just been, not sure which way round).

But as week goes by, I am less convinced it is going to happen, but that the mindset of a Nobber, prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

Whichever way you spin it, comms from the club has been a disgrace.

It’s only really been cloak and daggers since the initial takeover announcement though.
We’ve been fed bullshit on a regular basis during most prior seasons.
Something has changed and not for the better either.

I’ve never heard him called panda - always Winker - but the author of Eats Shoots and Leaves was a lady called Lynne Truss. Therefore, it must be the financial mastermind that is L. Truss who’s involved in our future

I didn't say that.

What I would suggest is they allowed speculation to fuel positivity breeding the sales. Suited them perfectly. And we had a certain forum member appear periodically to keep the positive spin going. Funnily enough once the ST sale period ended, that's when they disappeared for good.

I don't trust the owners and never have done, but especially since Trevor died.

Im not sure you are actually believing what you have just written.
As for not trusting the owners then fair enough but the bit about boosting season tickets with false takeovers is just frankly bollocks.

I don't think it's made up. I do think the speculation was used to sell season tickets. It might be on, it might not happen, but it looking its going to happen was very much allowed to fester right when those sales were needed.

There is definitely no denying the fair weather poster was at best well meaning but wholly inaccurate, and as you say, they conveniently disappeared once people could determine most of the info was public domain anyhow.
For now we have to trust that this is simply a complication associated with funding streams

Only working with the facts. Zedan was at the QPR game. Since then, zero updates from the club. All we had was the ITK posts here and @Swisswhite running commentary all the way until August 14th. Then, nothing again.

Yep I can see that narrative from your point of view and no comms whatsoever.
All I can say is that I’ve had nothing from my contact for weeks which is either a good thing or a bad one. Each to their own.
I know he told me in good faith about how the deal was going to work so who knows what’s moved.
