Thats when my hatred of Blackpool was firmly embedded in me !!
I had to stand and watch 15,000 of their fans celebrate whilst we got relegated ...
I have never forgot that, and i was only 9 years old !!!

I particularly loathe the fact that when I first went on they were in a higher league, getting better gates, had a similar stadium, and beating them (which we did) was a proper achievement; the perfect rivalry.
Now we dwarf them in every way except league position. Now it's like being a ManU fan, choosing Stockport as your main rivals, and still finding they go above you in the table.
Now I wish Rovers were our real rivals again, and not the annoying upstarts to the West.

of that hideous orange cheap looking kit, crappy stadium, no support, tacky tower, smackheads, Scots weekends, people walking endlessly up and down the prom, chavvy inhabitants, gobby Blackpool geezers, relentless smell of fish and chip shops, crumbling buildings, cruelty to donkeys, hideous sea quality, rock, candy floss, deckchairs, paddling in sewage, cheap B&Bs, Stag/Hen party weekends, ripping off the punters, grotty estates, holiday capital of Europe (ha ha ha) etc, etc, etc..................

Haha, yeah instead of giving free tickets to local schools they dish them out to zoo creatures.

The Lasher you quoted said something along the lines of they are having a bad run yet are still above us. They have played more games than us. Simple explanation.
