True, Daz was never as useful as those few days. I was young, carefree and drunk. Was her fault, she should of said no. Bloody women 🙂

Once a poll is set up as private, there is no mod facility to convert it to an open poll.

Odd that a couple of the more vocal opponents to condolence threads were straight onto one today when they think they may know them. Yet if they don't know them other people should be denied the same privilege.

What do you expect them to say? I don't believe they want to get rid of condolences just get a section to stop them clogging up the main section.

Like all the others, that thread should be somewhere else and not in the main forum.

Because then you'd know where to look, simple as that. Condolence threads, no matter how sad, aren't football-related.

Aye exactly. No matter how sad they are I don't particulaly want to go on a football forum to read about people who have just died, especially when the only link is they support PNE.

Sad they may be but a section to their own is what is required.

And yes Jake, you are being a bit of a cunt trying to stir it up like that. You know full well the people who are 'complaining' are not evil black hearted monsters, they just want a section to put those threads in.

Its the first time I have known someone who has died that has been posted on here.

I am absolutely gutted over Dave, and the manner in which it occurred. The full story is too shocking to comprehend.

I think you should just leave them where they are, for what it is worth!

A well known and popular North ender is one thing, Jade Goody and the like another.

An obituary section is a good idea, however it would seem due to the sheer popularity of this bloke, this instance is not out of place on the main forum.
