However, we certainly battered them second half - but in a footballing sense, and there was only one team that was going to win.

We could maybe tolerate the great name of Preston North End being dragged through the mud every week if we got a winning team as a result.
But of the last 9 games, we have failed to score in 5 of them, and have only managed one solitary win - against the team that is cast adrift at the foot of the table!
Difficult to take after so many years of being proud to be a North End fan and please let it sort itself out sooner rather than later.

Well they won't be playing the same team tonight, I have seen Beardsley kick out as he runs past players but we just arnt the soft pushover Pne anymore, beardo won't play amoo not here. So they won't be facing the same team lets just see how they cope with beavon and garner

Just let them think what they want, to me it sounds like they are scared. Tbh we are not the same pushover Pne anymore, we do stand up and get stuck in more and I have seen Beardsley kick the back of a players leg as he runs past but I have seen Rooney, Hernandez, Tevez, Aguero Messi and many others do this, just to let the opposition know you are there and you're not going away or hiding from them. But in no way are we a dirty hoofball side,a lot of the teams we have played this season were a lot dirtier and play more on the air than us

i agree, still winds me up though. I've been to nearly every home game this season and plenty of away games, and I've seen nothing to warrant this.
I'd understand if they have fell victim to buying into the bullshit themselves, but they clearly haven't, which makes them hypocrites for using underhand tactics of accusing us of using underhand tactics.
The one thing i will say about westley, for all his PR faults, he rarely rises to this directly. He just talks bollocks instead.
King started at RB & then only went up front just before Holmes scored & then from then onwards we were all over them.
Scared? Sounds like they are more than prepared. To whip out butts, play better, and generally smash our skulls in.
That's the hyper intelligent Westley for you, leaving a trail of destruction which history dictates will always catch up with him.

However, you are absolutely right. You can interpret what they have said in any number of ways - it is just that as a PNE supporter I do not choose to interpret them in a way that could hurt PNE. An agenda driven troll I can see would interpret it entirely differently.

The way he says 'their striker did nasty things' sounds to me like he is a soft 'c**t and that they are trying to find an excuse to why we diked them and make up excuses and get them in early incase they get beat tonight asthough its our fault they are crap. To me it jus stinks of fear from them. They are just hoping the ref hears about this and try to get him inside because its the only way they will win if they have the extra man
