No, I'm upset about them lying to the people of Preston to get planning permission to build housing on their golf course, taking cynical advantage of PNE fans in the process.

And they also extracted £1.5m from a cash-strapped football club that doesn't have £1.5m to throw away on useless bits of land.

Or, following on from attending the game, Ledecky confirmed his intention to proceed with the purchase and Craig choose to step aside in favour of someone more capable of handling the sale.
…. But that’s just wishful thinking right?

A lot of the ITK-ers seem to have been hounded off the forum. Shame really.
As with a lot of the transfer business these days the club just goes about things quietly in the background. Hopefully that's the case.

It's best to wait for a announcement from the chairman than getting rumours, it's not like the Hemmings group haven't sold properties and businesses before

The virtual tour (link below) is what I remember looking at and feeling super excited that something was finally happening to bring PNE into the 21st century. Then you wonder why people are still pissed off, personally I’ll never forgive old Trevor or his family for that betrayal.

I can only assume you’re a WUM to suggest that the only difference between the training facility we have and the one that was proposed is a postcode.

 
So Euxton has basically got all that minus the indoor pitch and a couple of outdoor pitches not needed because the acadamy is at Springfields. The changing rooms in the video are very similar to the real thing. Euxton does have a games room and lounge that the Ingol plans don't show. Not sure if Euxton is floodlit as I haven't been past there in ages.
I have to agree that it all looks impressive but only a fool would believe old Trev would have put his hands in his pocket to pay or that after Euxton came up at a tenth of the projected cost, hell you would even get hundreds of houses on there to offset the cost of Euxton!

Personal insults made to the owners including the recently stepped down Chairman and his late father.
Comments made on who was left what in TH's will.
I personally think they are bang out of order and have no place on pne-online.
TH was a philanthropist to PNE, maybe not as much as some wished for but a good custodian all the same.
Meanwhile I'm hoping we beat West Brom & Boro & Leicester drop points this weekend COYW!

Imagine digging out passionate North End fans and calling them fools for supporting what they believed was a just cause for the club, while at the same time demanding that unflattering but truthful comments about “Old Trev” be scrubbed from the forum.

How do those boots taste? Must be hard to say “thank you, boss” with a size 9 caked in horse shit jammed in your mouth.

But on Sunday (post #172), you said "No one was lied to, no fans were shafted..."

So was it ever the intention to build Ingol, or not?
