God it knocks you sick watching that and now we can’t afford an indoor pitch and expect the council to provide it.

But today (post#280) you didn't quote me correctly : I have to agree that it all looks impressive but only a fool would believe old Trev would have put his hands in his pocket to pay for that after Euxton came up at a tenth of the projected cost.
There you go corrected it for you now.

And as you don't seem to have read any of my earlier posts on the subject, prior to Euxton coming available, YES , I believe the intention was there to build Ingol albeit with the caveat that the houses would be built first and the training ground built from the profits. (though some strongly disagree) and just to clarify, I do not think anyone a fool for believing that. Once Euxton came available, the plans changed. Read the posts correctly and you might learn something.

talking about nonsense obviously neither would want pne allready being involved elsewhere ? point being we need better owners than that as for scaremongering nothing to do with it - that's my opinion don't know why you wouldn't agree

I did quote you correctly, and did read your post correctly. You've now changed 'or' to 'for' (as in 'pay for'), which clarifies things, but in any case, I didn't quote that part.
 
So if the houses were to pay for the non-existent Ingol training ground, the houses went up anyway so that money came in to the Hemmings coffers, Euxton cost a fraction of what was planned so where’s the rest gone? I assume the same place at the mythical £10M striker, desso pitch, indoor dome (the list goes on) we never got!

If the money saved had been invested elsewhere in the club you could maybe forgive them, but it didn’t so I don’t!

Craig claimed "the funds that would have gone on developing the training ground have already gone into the club over the years. Unfortunately it's just not something supporters can physically see."

Confirming it was all just a con.

I was a “fool” (your description Tarantino) that believed that “Trev would have put his hand in his pocket to pay” as promised for:
- a “Premiership ready training facility on 1/3 of the land in the timeframe stated
- 1/3 parkland in perpetuity for the people of Preston
- remaining 1/3 housing development as per plan.

Over time, JK & those of us who spent time and effort to support the application could be looked on as fools. I prefer to look on us as dedicated PNE fans, who provided support for the owners to provide the best facilities for the club. That support should reflect well on those who provided the support.

How matters post reflect on the ownership & PR is perhaps not a shining example of honesty & investment for the advancement of their asset.had

As for Euxton, I would be surprised if many were surprised at the purchase vs the cost of investment in the much lauded (if non-existent) Ingol facility.

TH had “previous” with regards shares as a cautionary tale. The example set (TH getting commercial shareholders to sell a large percentage of existing shares meaning under Stock Exchange rules, the small shareholder was forced to accept TH’s valuation) was a good indicator of his business practices. Also, a complete lack of regard for those fans who invested money in this instance, over the time and effort with Ingol.

TH forced the sale of shares to gain control of PNE, to remove the Stock Exchange obligation to be open & candid in relation to commercial matters at PNE. In other words, to treat us like mushrooms…..

I welcome Craig stepping down, have hope for the new incumbent to sell the club & and perhaps provide an ownership model we can applaud.

Without risking looking like fools.

He certainly stepped-in as a Bloke-on-a-White-Charger. At an opportune time. A time quite late on in the window of his involvement with PNE. As a Board Member he saw the storm clouds gather & timed his 'offer' as well as any opportunist could have- giving little thought to the many PNE fans in the town of just how derisory his bail-out was to them. Did you have any of those shares, Quentin ? Maybe you know Planning Officials on the City Council who approved the mythical Ingol Training Facilities which turned into private houses ? Many fans who bought a 'few' shares will always feel ripped-off. I do not wonder why.
Good custodian for his own Family and their many Isle of Man based companies.For PNE ?
That's been Done to Death on here, and the only Shining Light in all his time was the appointment of Simon Grayson and how S.G. used his time.

If the Levels of the Facilities at Euston are as good OR have the Potential to be as good as the Top Premier League Clubs - it would help to attract ( 'keeping' & 'investing' are other related issues ) better players.
I don't know if they are.... at present. I belt they are not. At present. Whether or not the place has the potential, ever - I don't know.
Euxton 'came up' as a cheaper option at a time when Ingol was also acquired by Hemmings.
Suddenly the idea of Ingol went cold... Why ?
 
It’s all a bit sad really had he kept his word and built Ingol we could now be seeing our own youngsters challenging for a place in the first team. Equally had he spent that little bit extra and bought the players and the manager wanted when we were so close to the top of the table and possible promotion then who knows?
There may even have been a call for a statue of him outside Deepdale.
When the Hemmings finally do sell up and move on what will be their legacy? I don’t think they’ll be remembered fondly by the majority of North end fans, it all could’ve been so different.

Remember it's just the 'One Big Ledger Book' covering the A-Z from "Removal of Dead Pigeons" to Club purchases such as Jeppe Okkels.
Such a big heavy tome must be hard to analyse.😉
