Showed more than both Chaplow and Nicholson combined last night.

More of the same please Darren.

Glad to hear he had a decent one. I've slated him in the past & he deserved it.
There's nothng better for me than to prove me wrong & that DC will be a 100% trier.
He's always had the skill - its just the application of it that I am found wanting .

I would agree with that. I just hope that he can build on the performance last night - fitted in well.

Mind you I thought Whaley had a decent game on Saturday - but at Forest = hopeless + clueless + pointless.

😎

Darren Carter is a dick.

And Chaplow isn't? I'd give Carter a prolonged run in the centre of midfield. When did he last start two on the bounce. Chaplow on the other hand has been invisible since November but still gets nothing but a pat on the back.

He did OK, but nothing out of ordinary, unfortunatelly. Then again, if that curler had found the top corner, I`d been saying exactly opposite. He did OK, will defo start on Saturday with McKenna and Chaplow out. Carter and Jones in middle for me, Nicholson on wing and Whaley on bench!

Maybe Carter and Fotheringham, if we sign him. But we need someone with a bit more willingness to tackle back than Whaley on one of the flanks if we have Wallace on the other. I suppose that would have to be Nicholson, there really is nobody else.

carter was better last night and has been slightly better in the last few appearances but bottom line is he doesnt care. he just doesnt cover any grass at all, never back tracks and never breaks into a sweat. we have other midfielders in the team who are out of sorts form wise but give 100 times more for the cause and cover every blade, like wallace, sedgwick, mckenna and chaplow.

they are each worth 100 darren carters. he's had his chances and blown them. burnt his bridges, no way back in my opinion

Thats exactly why sedgwick will be back once he's available again. If we had a right sided wallace I'd say get them both in and lets take the game to any opponent either home or away - if one of them was having a bad game theres a chance the other would deliver something.

But we don't have another Wallace and unless Whaley is offering something irresitable in attack the negatives of playing him over sedgwick outweigh the positives.

Didn't think Whaley, Chaplow or Carter did much on Tuesday. We had a 5 man midfield so they should have had chance to shine. But it was all McKenna. Even Nicholson chipped in with a battling performance.
