Yes you are quite right.

However I felt the need to correct our resident gobshite as he's so quick to jump on the back of others !

At last a bit of honesty !!!;

I think you will find when he took the Forest job he did not get them to the play offs, hence 5 out of 5 and 4 out of 4 be incorrect. However I suppose you will now rectify your statement to suggest you meant full seasons ?

It's also nice to see you backtrack in saying that if Davies was appointed we would have a good manager (that is not what I am questioning) and he would not guarantee immediate success. In doing so I will retract my blind faith comment to you, my questioning of the appointment of Davies is in relation to whether he is the right person given our current position. Given the clubs current financial position and the fact that Davies has spent large amounts at each of the clubs he has managed with relative success, do you feel he would be given money to spend and if so would this spending put the club in peril?

In my book it is a risk not worth taking.

Correct, in five full seasons he got to the play offs, he couldn't possibly achieve the play offs when he took over a relegation side part way through the season.

I have never said his appointment would guarantee success, why are you insinuating I did?

Basically you're just being a dick.

Davis was and still is a great football manager , but has any manager returned to a club and achieved the same success that he had previously , I doubt it , am sure some stato will let us know , if TH is willing to employ Billy then he must be loosening his tight grip on his wallet as he wont come back without funds

Ha ha. Yeah he has.

Yes Rudders, I enjoyed beating Premiership Derby at Pride Park, and Davies squealing that the Preston fans upset him.

That doesn't detract from him being the best man for the Preston job, unlike you I am big enough to forgive and move on.

Darren ferguson.

I don't use my ears to read you thick cunt.

Now can you explain where I was wrong in saying Davies took his teams to five play offs in the five seasons he managed them?

You didnt say seasons you thick fuck, you said 5 out of 5 which is incorrect.

The second part is bang on.

There is no doubt that Davies is the man for the job, he himself has stated he has "unfinished business" here, however, if he doesn't want the job, then Unsworth with Alexander assistant for me, they seem to have immense passion and both care deeply about PNE and want us to do well.
