Here's what a Fulham-supporting journalistic colleague just told me:

"Johnson's quick. Er, that's all. Cult figure (of fun) at Cardiff on loan and then back at Fulham. Hopeless I'm afraid but you'll laugh."

I hope the player can prove him wrong.

Perhaps you could remind me how many goals the likes of Rooney, and other English strikers etc scored against the might of Algeria, Slovenia, and even the USA in the recent world cup?

270 minutes against those giants of world soccer and just the one goal from a striker was it?
 
So he is a pacey striker that doesn't exactly have a prolific scoring record. Maybe Brown has other plans rather than playing him bang up front? We already have pace up front in Hume, so maybe sitting behind the forwards?

Surprised so few of youhave seen him play. Nobody remember on MOTD for Fulham (forget who against)where they went through afterwards highlighting his good movement and workrate? It wasn't long ago.

He's a really decent player. Seemed to have a weird spell at Cardiff but he's fucking rapid and given he's out ofcontract he's putting himself in the shop window for the big Championship teams.

Looked pretty handy in the couple of games I watched on TV - quick, direct, works hard, and good with his head. Scored goals against some good sides, too - the likes of AEK and Olympiakos.

Could be a good signing 🙂
