Favourite Chants
When the whites go marching in. (slow version)
We don't hear it enough and done correctly any more. The plebs upstairs would rather sing about Leeds. Last time i heard it done well was when Spurs were in town in the league cup.
i cannot stand that song and everyone else in the league sings it so no thanks

"Oyston's sewing bags..."
ye I liked that one also.
We should adapt a modern day dong for Finney -
He played on the left
he played on the riiiiiight
that Sir Tom Finney made Matthews look shite.

I found it quite hard to fit PNE into that when saying it in my head!

Why sing a "dong" (sic) about a player who last played for us for 50 years ago.
Seems to me this would be a pretty sad admission of just how mediocre we have actually been since then.
Come to think of it we were already mediocre when Finney did play for us. (Not much silverware to show for it and even managed a relegation to Div 2!)
My favourite chant/song at a football match is the one that's never sung.

Thanks for that I hadn't noticed the work of my chubby fingers... Obviously I meant song.
I was trying to get a bite from our resident Blackpool fans namely OIAH and probably a few others on this thread.
Thanks again, I've always wanted to employ a proof reader, as usually it takes me a while. You seem to be doing it on a voluntary basis, so it saves me a bit of money during the downturn.
