Does anybody have any details of train travel please?

I'm stopping down and on a early train so managed to get a ticket for less than £20. However all the early tickets have been snapped up months ago.

I'm on the 6:58 which I know quite a few folks are too, there is also an early one at 6:17.

However I think you can get a Same Day Travel Card which is £47.35 and I think that includes the tube too.

Best to check with National Rail Enquiries though.

Hope this helps.

Cheers for that.

Really looking forward to this match, a few beers around London with fellow North Enders, old school terracing, and watching a North End side that actually has a chance of posting a win.

Oh and donning a vintage bowler to remember our fellow supporters.

Thanks to JK and the other folks who clearly take alot of pride and effort in arranging these Gentry Days.

Another image that has been done for us to help promote The Genrty, feel free to share.

Can't wait for this. First ever London away trip for me as I usually only go to games north of the border. I will be remembering my old man whilst donning my bowler 🙂

The North End Gentry are returning for the away trip to Brentford
As is now customary, the Return of the Gentry, which is organised by the Preston Supporters Group, will take place to remember any Preston North End follower or player who may have passed away in the last 12 months and our trip to Griffin Park on the 16th March has been selected for this year.

The Gentry term was first used by third division championship winning manager Alan Ball Snr in the early 1970s stating to the Press after a game that "Preston fans are the best, they're the gentry".

This quote inspired a number of PNE fans to wear bowler hats and pin stripe suits and it is once again time for the North End following to dust off their finest clothing as they head to London.

In 2005 PSG arranged the "Return of the Gentry" in memory of John Tracey, a member of the original PNE Gentry who sadly passed away. This was a massive success and even saw North End's players wearing the famed bowler hats on the pitch.

It was decided in 2008 to make this an annual event for all North End fans and the people of Preston to remember anyone they may have lost during that season/year.

Tickets are available for this match now from MyPNE.Com so why not get involved and show your support for Preston North End and the people of the city.

PNE have been allocated 200 seats and 400 terrace spots in the Brook Road Stand.

Advance Ticket Prices for the Brook Road stand are as follows (prices rise to matchday prices (in brackets) at 4pm the day prior to the match):
