Gentry Day 2022 - Dedication, memories, tributes.

[budgierustler]

Remembering Trevor Hemmings tomorrow at Barnsley.

Remembering Trevor Hemmings tomorrow at Barnsley.

Gentry

I know the tradition is always bowler hats but I think flat caps would be a fitting tribute for Gentry day this year.

[Ando60]

Remembering Sir Tom Finney of course…..

100 years old.

[Herb]

Joe Hood (1926-2012) and Gill Hood (1962-2012). My Dad watched them from the 1930's and had a season ticket until he died. 10 years this year for both, and counting. RIP.

Today I’ll be thinking of

Bob Proctor - Dad
Elizabeth Proctor - Mum
Helen Proctor - sister

All sadly passed away in the last 3 years. Dad took me on my first game v Bolton in 1974 aged 5 #TheGentry

Thoughts with everyone who has lost a loved one

[TJR1970]

My dad-Frank Routledge. I’ll be wearing his gentry day, bowler hat.

With apologies for borrowing another chant:

"They're all of our own
They're all of our own
Oh the PNE Gentry
They're all of our own."

RIP to all supporters who've passed away.

[Mortis]

My Dad - Brian Rigby passed away 23rd Nov 21 - missed 2 Home Game in 50 plus seasons and watched his beloved Preston at over 100 different grounds , thoughts with him today - sorely missed by all who knew him …

[Tugg Speedman]

Been thinking of my dad today. He passed on in 2017, lifelong PNE fan, remembered the Tom Finney days fondly (and of course repeatedly proclaimed he was the greatest), the cinder track round the Deepdale pitch, Jowett vans etc. Would've been his birthday yesterday. Miss you dad.
