“This is undoubtedly the start of an exciting new era for PNE, one built on positivity, desire, togetherness, and belief.”

Hmmm...a very bold statement - perhaps Penrose should have saved that for when/if the takeover happens.

Folk were always going to be nervous about this appointment whoever it was. No wonder after the last two we’ve had to suffer. Wasn’t in my top 3 choices, who, tbf were unrealistic. Onwards and upwards!

Absolute car crash of a decision to leave.

Bigger club easily.

He’ll be forever a Judas.

Nearly all of the Bradford fans have been understanding and thankful for what he has done there.

Why on earth would he be a Judas? Not like he has jumped ship and gone to Leeds.

Have you actually read the article on the Bradford site? It is almost unique in how much they are praising him and Chris

Mixed emotions; delighted to have a genuine North End soul back and will back him to the hilt. 🤍

That moment he walks out against Millwall is going to be VERY special.

However, I just hope he realises the size of the task he's taken on and has the ability to tackle it.

Clearing out the rotten backroom staff, toughening up the mentality and getting the players fit again should be top priorities.

Frankly, I'd be amazed if anyone could keep this shambles of a squad up this season.

If Grezza does it, not only would it be extra sweet, but we should build him a bloody statue.

Please God . . . COYW. 🙏

bad news for me and a major backwards step if Alexander carries on with type of tactics he used at previous clubs, they've gone to a man who would never turn us down!! cant imagine his style of football is going to sit well with certain players and certainly don't think its going to improve them. Guess were looking to next season hoping he makes us competitive in league 1
