I’m a pretty strong believer in never getting too high or too low when it comes to manager interviews because most of the time it’s total bollocks. Managers hate media duties (apart from Lowe) especially after losses so just give platitudes rather than full assessments. I imagine it rarely mirrors what was said in the dressing room. It’s the same reason the stuff about him being the right guy off his first interview were silly tooMaybe it's also a concern then that Alexander doesn't think we are particularly weak at set pieces, according to what he said in his post match interview with Radio East Lancs on Saturday?
Not criticising Grezza (yet) since we were and are in such a f'ckin mess. But we can't carry on shipping goals so easily game after game.
If we do keep shipping goals like we are doing, how many games do we give him? Or is the grand master(s) plan to just accept our fate and keep Grezza as manager come what may?
I highly doubt an experienced manager who’s watched his side concede 4 set pieces in two games thinks we’re not weak in that area. It’ll be interesting to see if the rumours of Murphy’s departure are true whether he’s replaced by a straight set piece coach. You’d imagine he’s not required as a defensive coach when we’re managed by a RB and CB
