Confirmed Graham Alexander New Manager, Chris Lucketti as Assistant

Does anyone know which Undr The Cosh episode it is where Jon Parkin talks about his clashes with Graham Alexander at (I think it was) Fleetwood?
Sorry Idk but there's a common thread running through " Beast's " book and that is - that he admits he was indeed a lazy bugger but a pretty skilled lazy bugger at that, and bagged many a good goal. I'd have him back tomorrow, in spite of what Grezza - and several other managers thought about him.
Not everyone responds to discipline and Parkin would be amongst the first to agree to that.

Just said the same on the Academy thread.

Bit surprising there's no work on Wednesday, surely they dont need two recovery days?
With this lot - nowt surprises me.
It's not as though they ran their collective arses off in the second-half at St.Andrew's.
They were pegged back in their own half !

A lot of criticism directed at Ridsdale - fine. But he’s just the executioners monkey. My ire is directed at Craig Hemmings. The guy should not have been left in charge of the finances of the football club. And whatever folks say about Revitt - the ultimate responsibility for all this mismanagement- it lies at his door. Including btw - the takeover courtship - and the untold damage that is doing. There should be ‘wild West’ posters erected ‘Reward. Dead or Alive’ for the shambolic ownership. Tell me - how many games does he g to ?…..

Premier League level touch and awareness wrapped in the body of Dog and Duck FC's 4th choice sub. What could have been.

Parkin was a lazy fat bastard but in his prime he’d still be our best striker by a country mile now.

Aside from being lazy I guess other important factors were, was he disruptive? Did his attitude affect other members of the squad?

It's hard to say as we are simply fans. Like most of us, most of us make some friends and some of us pick up the odd enemy along the way- whether that's at school, work or whatever. He seemed a 'laid-back' sort rather than bolshy or lippy, or acting as the "Union Rep." for the team .
Whether that laid-back attitude spread into his team-mates , I couldn't say.
It's certainly a good question for 'Hunts' on this ''Evening with Paul Huntington'' thing.

Ridsdale kept extending their Contracts.
With what different conditions / pay - Idk.

That's the point I was making really. Ridsdale when asked effectively responds "Nothing to do with me! Honest!" as if he has no power whatsoever.

"We can't get rid of the defenders, they're under contract" as if he wasn't the ones extending them

Peter will just use the line that the manager said he wanted to keep them and negotiated new contracts on behalf of the manager and clubs. Which if true then that should be how it is, Peter shouldn’t have any say in who we sign, if they get extended contracts or released.
