Confirmed Harrison Armstrong recalled by Everton.
Time to move on from HA I guess. It was good while it lasted. Hopefully we have enough in our squad to do well in his absence.Literally been there all season and Armstrong has been starting ahead of him since coming back and George is Grealish’s replacement
Close this thread, we can all forget about the lad now.
20m Great British Pounds for Dwight McNeil…
I mean if anyone feels disappointed in our deadline day try having two Palace Season Ticket holders living in your house.

Yep, his Mrs has been kicking off about it on social media
All the very best with the rest of your career, Harrison. Thanks for your endeavours, and the memories.
A future England great, of that I am sure.

Strand-Larsen, a £48m overdraft and Mateta sulking for the rest of the season with his dodgy knee wasn't what they had hoped for I imagine even if avoiding McNeil might be a winMcNeil fell through didn't it? Lucky escape for Palace.

I see shades of John Stone.Exactly this. Shades of Beckham and Pickford.
They have got all their players back now ( apart from Grealish ) and they’ve brought in Tyrique George from Chelsea so I suspect he will be warming the bench quite a bit in the next 3 months…..Dropped to the bench tonight.
Frustrating for him and us if that’s for the rest of the season.
You can’t blame Moyes for taking him back though ….

I suspect he will get quite a lot of minutes before the end of the season. He's just played however many games on the trot so he was always going to be rotated. Even if the majority of his appearances are 20-30 minutes at the end of games, that will stand him in really good stead going into next season.
At the end of the day, he's Everton's player. He was never ours nor do they owe us anything, especially if the loan was as cheap as it sounds given he already had Championship pedigree and is clearly an enormous talent.

Played half an hour, so he's obviously not there to just keep the seats occupied like our kids.

they immediately conceded and then lost the game after he came on. They seem to do better with him not on the pitch.
Why have we left a space free in the 25 man squad?

Because Small doesn't need to be registered, and it leaves the door open for a free agent signing in case of emergency.
