Sorry, I can't accept that 3 months picking up the pieces of a shambolic Westley era + a pre season is enough time for any manager to truly impose his ways on any team. Your expectations are not realistic.

The "team" picked themselves up straight after Westley was sacked (and probably played their best football against Bournemouth under Dreyer the very next game), Grayson saw what he had and did some good stuff, I would have expected him to follow this on with the additions he made and really hit the ground running, not parking the bloody bus each and every time.

Pre season (where everyone says it doesn't matter) saw us struggle in nearly every game (BB excepted) to impose ourselves on lesser teams and get through without losing face against the better teams and this has carried on into the season so far imho.

Statistically it shows that in the game we created 10 scoring opportunities, 6 those tested the keeper, to a degree and of course one did beat him. The stat that matters really.

Agreed, the only stat that matters is the one which shows how many we scored, and how many the opposition scored.

I'd happily watch us soak up pressure and nick a goal and win each game one nil, but we don't have a Van Persie or Suarez up front do we? Therefore, we need to look at creating more than the odd chance in a game which we aren't currently doing as the results suggest.

And we were setting up not to get beat against a very good attacking team who are currently 3rd and unbeaten in a league above us, if Grayson went for it from the off we would probably have been ripped apart by a very good passing and counter attacking blackpool team. You keep referring to that game to back up your points but its an enigma they are a team higher up in the league than us, they are there for a reason my friend because they have a stronger squad.
