  • Gentry Tifo Update
The Gentry Tifo will now be displayed next season to ensure it receives the platform and impact it deserves.
Names and donations remain open this season.
In memory of Brian Jolly (LIS), donations during this period will be split between the Tifo fund and a charity chosen by his family, also honouring The Warehouse (Dave B).

Heckingbottom

Heckingbottom

Middlesbrough pay wages that can attract people like their 2nd goal scorer today. We won't pay that level of wages which means he doesn't score goals for us anymore.
Agreed, had we managed to keep Browne we'd be pissing it this season just like we did every other season he was here. 🥴

Think you missed my point. Am not having it there isn't another manager out there that could get more out of this squad of players.

He had us third in the league, pushing for automatic then didn't get backed in the window, why should Hecky be bothered about anything other than staying up. If the club is sold the new owner will likely want to bring their own people in anyway, maybe a big name like Gerrard or Rooney. Be careful what you wish for.
I think Gerrard could actually be a decent appointment at this level.

He apparently left on less money than he’d been getting here.

The major thing both Middlesbrough and Sunderland have in their favour is they aren’t managed by the charlatan.

The major thing that they have in their favour is that they don't have Man U, City, Liverpool and Everton on their doorstep.

They may have Newcastle but I doubt that they have plastic fans like clubs in the North West or London have to cope with.

Other clubs like Bristol City, Norwich and Ipswich have a similar advantage.
