Osmajic said he wasn’t fit to play yesterday and I got that directly from PR. I don’t know why you think I believe PH is blameless I don’t I think the club is stuffed it’s neglect runs from owners to players inclusively.yesterday when 2 down and really needing to make positive changes PH brings on Potts, Brady and Smith leaving the Balkan trio on the bench, it is little wonder the players don't have any confidence in PH

We're awash with frees tbh and we're getting the bottom of the pile frees tooI wonder if we need to go back to the John Mcgrath school of player signings- get them in on free transfers.
It means you can spend more of what pot you have on wages without having to pay another cub for them.
-Also, if the players have been staring redundancy in the face, it might make them more motivated to play, as no-one likes the concept of having to get a proper job!
Having said that, Lewis hasn't exactly set the pitch alight has he?
thoughts?
All the frees this season aren't up to it, fees we paid for small and offiah were the right decisions as they're prospects
How on earth we shift out the dross in this squad and replace it is beyond me and we all know it's just not going to happen, the easy thing is to extend which is ridsdales MO

Had time to think about the entire situation, obviously the underlying issue is the ownership and how vital it now is to be taken over.
I think we all forgave the terrible end to last season due to the players not necessarily being his and the need for a wholesale change of players in the summer. And, it probably showed that he can be a good manager with the start we had to this season.
But, although now not helped by poor recruitment in January we’ve started to slide like we did last year and I think Heckingbottom struggles to motivate when there’s nothing really to play for, thinking we are safe and dry like last season.
There is still a large contingency of players that was here before Heckingbottom and will be here after him that talk up a good game, but are realistically nothing more than low end Champ/L1 players, but with mentalities that absolutely stink when things don’t go their way.
The club needs a mentality change and has done for many years and showing off the end to last season and this season, Heckingbottom isn’t the right person to be at the helm.
Personally, I think if we was able to bring someone of the calibre of Will Still back to the club, then he could be the next step that the club finally needs, if given the right resources by whoever the ownership is.
I’ve backed the Heck, but through faults of his own and of those above him. He unfortunately needs to go.

imagine believing anything PR said., you and a few others give PH an easy time by blaming the owners and PR, yet given our near relegation last season and our dramatic plunge down the table this season, crap selections, crap substitutions despite bringing in so many players since he arrived PH escapes being shite.
PH has the worst league win ration in recent seasons, even the odious Lowe and Frankie had better.
It’s a normal workplace for them . They can’t keep blaming managers for poor performances and expect to stay at a club.Football is not a normal workplace. If a manager loses the squad, he needs to go immediately. Heckingbottom is the least motivated out of all of them.
Semantics. But that's changing the terms of the rolling contract- to give 12 months notice from a particular date.Actually, you can give notice on it. It's a 12 month rolling contract, so if we gave notice tomorrow, he'd have 12 months from then.
The post said 'when the rolling contract. Finishes in the summer'.

so who is to blame for crap selections, tactics and substitutioms?
Then why have him on the bench making up numbers. At least have someone who could contribute or just not fill the benchOsmajic said he wasn’t fit to play yesterday and I got that directly from PR. We have been doing that all season, having the likes of Nelson and Mawane on the bench when there was no intention at all of bringing them on.

The same could be said for yourself. You pin everything at PH’s door and have done since he was appointed but had little to say between August and Jan when we were in the top six. He’s got a lot wrong no doubt about it and it’s a results business of course but to put all responsibility on him ignores the cards he’s dealt with and the fact we see this cycle every few years. The underlying problem is much bigger than PH.imagine believing anything PR said., you and a few others give PH an easy time by blaming the owners and PR, yet given our near relegation last season and our dramatic plunge down the table this season, crap selections, crap substitutions despite bringing in so many players since he arrived PH escapes being shite.

Oh dear god I’m running round in circles here. The manager picks those things so ultimately it’s him the buck stops there for that. Performance wise is the players responsibility they may not like the task but it’s for them to perform to the best of their ability in that task and if that’s their best, they need to reconsider their futures.so who is to blame for crap selections, tactics and substitutioms?
I have no idea. I posed the same question as Bill as to why he was sat on the bench and that’s what I was told. I also said none of them were fit to wear the shirt. It’s just how I feel I’m as fed up as everyone else. Then why have him on the bench making up numbers. At least have someone who could contribute or just not fill the bench

Get Ted Lasso in!!!!The managers job whether as a bare minimum is surely getting the players motivated and giving 100%. If they aren’t motivated or giving 100% constantly then drop them but it seems mosts players know however bad they are they will still be in the team or squad each week.
If a manager or coaching team can’t get the players motivated then it is time go

Bad hand?...he let the club pay way over the odds for a league one standard injured player...not sure I'd trust him moving forwards to spend money wisely. We needed a decent first team starter on midfield to replace whiteman...that was a failureI said elsewhere that he has lost the players but not in terms of them not liking him but in terms of having any belief to carry out what he wants them to.
Paul got a bad hand in January (like many before him) by our disinterested owners.
This lack of interest drip feeds down and we are where we are.
I like Paul and as a club another cycle of the sack, not back, lose interest, sack cycle is not what any of us wanted.
Sadly though I genuinely think he doesn't know or have the ability to get us out this horrific run.

All of that could equally have been said about Ryan Lowe yet nobody thought he was a good manager. And Heckingbottom is currently performing worse than Lowe wasControversial but I think he is a good manager
Here me out
The board give him a tiny budget and he has to buy from that aswell as selling
He brings in a few quality loans who we all know don't really care
Then he has to get some free transfers who are free because they are surplus to requirements at there clubs.
The biggest problem is the hugh massive enormous lack of any investment from HEMMINGS AND CO
imagine being in his shoes !
You have to inherit an aging squad of some who are hanging on to sit on the bench and if anyone says they love the club Naaaa!!
Why should they!
They owe the club nothing at all like Brady and Potts etc
1/2 the team is league 1 the rest are mediocre championship
If we got to the prem we'd get our arses handed to us week in week out
You think it's bad now fuckkkkk!!
All we can hope for is it's a blip all team have them ,yes his actions are odd at times but what can we do
Ultimately we need to be bought out !

Given that Fiat 500s cost about as much as a Ferrari nowadays maybe they’re on to somethingThat's Fiat owners thinking that because Fiat owned Ferrari that their standard Abarth somehow has supercar lineage.
Paul Heckingbottom: Preston North End must 'break cycle' and 'change glass ceiling'
Plenty discussed by the PNE boss in his post-match press conference at Carrow Road
“We've got to change it, haven't we?” Heckingbottom told BBC Lancashire. “There's no way I've come here to accept not improving, on and off the pitch not improving. That's everyone's job and we're committed to doing it.”
Actions, not words.
Not semantics, it's completely different. He's not on a permanent contract. Today, it has 12 months to run, tomorrow it has 12 months to run. But, if we give notice, he's out of contract a year later. They're not the same thing.Semantics. But that's changing the terms of the rolling contract- to give 12 months notice from a particular date.
The post said 'when the rolling contract. Finishes in the summer'.
Doesn't really matter anyway because he's going nowhere for now. It'll be classic North End - we'll just about stay up, let him sign his own players in the summer, and then sack him in October when we're in the bottom three.
